Take Me Into Your Throne Room

I watched a live stream of Jesus Image with worship leader David Brymer singing a song titled “Beauty, Beauty.” He began by singing about Jesus, who is “The Word” and was the only begotten son of God. He sang about His goodness, grace, and glory, saying: “all we can do is stand in wonder and sing.” He then ushers us into the presence of God, singing, “Take me into Your throne room, Let me see Your beauty, Let me see Your face.” There were young children between 5 and 10 years old singing and worshipping with their hands raised and tears streaming down their faces.

I was so caught up in the presence of God just watching the live stream, and just as His glory filled the temple, it filled my room. I’ve been in meetings where there was such a strong anointing during the worship and some people would raise their hands, some would shake, some would kneel down, and some would even lay prostrate before the Lord, unable to stand. There were times when we went so deep as we prayed in The Spirit for hours on end.

The Holy Spirit is about to bring us into a higher level of His presence and take us beyond what we’ve known in the past. He wants to fill His people and His temple with His glory, just as He did in Solomon’s temple. In 2 Chronicles 5:13-14 and 1 Kings 8:10-11, the priests came out of the Holy Place where the cloud filled the house of the Lord. They were not able to stand to minister as The Shekinah Glory cloud filled the house.

We could experience that same anointing in our homes as we do in a church or other gatherings. Ministries should carry that transferable anointing that others could sense and feel whether they are in the service or watching on live stream. Jesus is calling us to come into the throne room. In the book of Revelation, Chapter 4, John speaks about an encounter that he had as he saw a door standing open in heaven. Then he heard a voice as a trumpet speaking to him, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.”

He was immediately in the Spirit and he went on to describe what he saw. There is a door open in the Spirit realm to those of us who are in Covenant with Jesus. The Holy Spirit wants to show us things beyond the natural realm, and He is inviting us to come up to a higher place with Him. As we align our hearts and thoughts with His, we can go to a higher level. It’s not only for the five-fold ministers, but the Lord is saying; come up here, and I will show you things to come.

1 Kings 8:10-11

And it came to pass, when the priests came out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD, so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD.

2 Chronicles 5: 13 – 14

It came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying: For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God.

Revelation 4:1-2

After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.” Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne.
