Speech Is Not Free: What Lawfare Against Alex Jones Means for Americans

The DOJ’s war waged against InfoWars owner Alex Jones is a temperature check on our First Amendment—and it’s cooked.

OPINION

Alex Jones, anti-Deep State warrior and founder of citizen journalism platform InfoWars, has been calling out seedy government operations for decades.

For instance, Jones predicted in early 2001 that the American government would crash a 747 into the World Trade Center and pin it on Osama bin Laden.

Buried secrets do not always appreciate the light of day, so taking a sledgehammer to Deep State deception as Alex Jones does daily is risky business.

This is particularly evident with his latest appearance in the media circuit.

InfoWars was forced to go to auction and sold to left-wing satire property the Onion on November 13, in a DOJ maneuver to punish Jones for questioning if the Sandy Hook school shooting was a government-created false flag event.

In Jones’ defense, there are plenty of suspicious circumstances surrounding Sandy Hook that point to the use of crisis actors. It doesn’t help that the massacre was peddled to the masses as anti-Second Amendment propaganda, reminiscent of when 9/11 was used to justify mass surveillance.

But this isn’t the point. Free speech is a protected constitutional right, along with the right to freedom of press and to petition the government.

All three of these First Amendment rights are infringed upon in Alex Jones’ case.

The suit alleges defamation of the Sandy Hook families for Jones considering the shooting a hoax. If not a hoax, why strike a misguided person so maliciously?

The justice system sought to take everything the so-called “conspiracy theorist” had by hitting Jones with a $1.5 billion fine that required the sale of the InfoWars brand identity, content, and equipment.

Then, the rigged auction prioritized seller ideology over profit, taking a lower bid by a left-wing buyer over right-wing hopefuls to save the platform like Roger Stone.

This power grab uses Sandy Hook families as pawns to set a dangerous precedent and send a clear message: If you bust government narratives, you will be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Maybe that’s why the Onion’s purchase of InfoWars was rescinded just a couple days later thanks to lawyers’ concerns over the auction’s blatantly corrupt proceedings. President Donald Trump and Elon Musk were both said to be involved in this action, Musk for the court’s demand of InfoWar’s X account.

Make no mistake, the bankruptcy of Alex Jones is nothing more than a DOJ show pony of rigged jurisdiction to deter like-minded free thinkers who dare to question their government.

These are the moments we can lucidly understand what we are up against.

A real-life “David and Goliath” scenario, modern-day warriors like Alex Jones rely on faith to face the behemoth of a covertly oppressive government, propagandized media complex, and pervasive cultural conditioning.

Stand tall in your truth. Good things await under Trump’s upcoming people-first administration.
