Quest for Hope

The only real hope is a person and His name is Jesus.

We are all on a constant quest for hope.

We all want a reason to get up in the morning.

God hand wired us all for hope.

What we place our hope in will set the direction of our life.

In the past, I set my hope on others.

I have learned that hope always includes an expectation.

Hope has to fix what is broken.

We are always preaching the validity of what we reach for.

But there is a radical truth.

Hope is not a situation. Hope is not the location of my home. Hope for sure is not our possessions and hope can never be an experience. Hope is way more than an insight.

Hope the only real hope is a person, and His name is Jesus.

He is the only one who has made a commitment to me of hope.

And behold, I am with you always, to the end of age. Matthew 28:20

That is something that is far more profound and meaningful than a hope that people will be nice to me, that my job will work out, that I will be able to feel successful, have enough, or be free of any kind of illness or betrayal.

It’s an eternal hope deeply and personally just to me and hopefully to you.

Jesus wrapped His arms around me and He will never let me go.

If nothing in this life we have ever envisioned works out, we have hope because He is with us with power and grace forever.
