The challenges are many, there is a cost to pay as an Intercessor, but the reward is great.
The LORD is calling out to those who will answer the call to pray heaven down to earth in this time of great clashing of swords.
It is past time to PRESS IN!
You will never press in if you do not stop and make a decision to discipline yourself.
No one can do that for you!
For the MOMENT, all discipline is painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. (Hebrews 12:11)
There was a time in my life when I wanted to see an easier description of discipline, even though as a former professional dancer, I knew it is a quality that must be developed in order to produce results and accomplish your goal — aka your desire.
“Being punished isn’t enjoyable while it is happening — it hurts! But afterwards we can see the result, a quiet growth in grace and character.” Hebrews 12:11 TLB.
“Now all discipline seems to be painful at the time, yet later it will produce a transformation of character, bringing a harvest of righteousness and peace to those who yield to it.” Hebrews 12:11 TPT.
“Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.” Hebrews 12:11 NKJV.
As I was writing this, the LORD suddenly gave me a picture of a cake with chocolate icing. I laughed and said, “LORD, why am I seeing this?”
He said, “You always loved to cook and bake cakes. A cake will never come together without all the ingredients, and there will always be a time of baking it before you can serve it.
So it is with a goal in life, you must count the cost, write down the necessary steps or ‘ingredients’ that will go into it in order to accomplish the end result.”
I began to realize that as a dancer, there was a lot of “heat” (sweating) that took place as I practiced all the steps that went into a finished performance.
So beloved, as we face many changes and challenges in our world today, and take up the full armor or GOD (our weapons), we must discipline ourselves to press in. That kind of force is what it takes to win!
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” Matthew 11:12 NKJV.
Today, the LORD said, “Daughter, you always talk in depth about intercession, but today, it is time to talk about the one ingredient that must be embraced to ‘take it by force’.
Faith is your ‘violent force’!
Paul said, ‘Fight the good fight of faith’. (1 Timothy 6:12). My Word is your weapon that will bring down every stronghold of unbelief and every obstacle the enemy uses to stop you.”
Beloved, we have The Blood of Jesus as a weapon. He sent the Holy Spirit to be our helper.
We must take up the weapons of our warfare in this hour by putting the word of Faith in our hearts and releasing it out of our mouths.
Paul’s statement in 2 Timothy 4 was his ‘last word’ on how that works.
“I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course, I have kept the faith,” 2 Timothy 4:7.
So, I challenge you today to take up The Shield of Faith, just as Paul spoke, and fight with faith in your heart.
It is past time to stop speaking the problem and speak the answer that will stop the enemy in his tracks!
The LORD spoke, “Tell My People to press in — or that will not press on.
Tell them to be the Pauls of this generation, those who caught the Vision of Truth that Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and speak boldly as you run the race that is marked out for you in this hour, when men are saying all hope is gone.
So, “Press In” and you will see the fullness of the provision of God I have prepared for you and I have empowered in you, for such a time as this!” says The LORD.
“Do not fall into the trap of deception that the world has set for you!
The pride of their heart has deceived them, but the Faith in your heart shall carry you through to victory.
It shall carry you through to receive all that you need, for it is the substance of things hoped for.
I AM your Hope. I AM your life preserver.
When you are in over your head, I show Myself strong to those whose heart is perfect toward Me!
Turn your eyes to Heaven! You have been marked for such a time as this. Perfect simply says you are devoted and faithfully loyal to your Savior.
I AM speaking to My People, whose hearts are full of despair,” says the Father God.
“There is no time to hesitate! I AM raising up this generation to stand strong in these last days.
The Church — as most have known it — is not focused on My soon coming.
They are drowning in their own man-made river of life.
Let your hope in Me continue to keep your heart pure with diligence.
Be determined to Focus, and spend time in My Word.
I AM drawing you to a deeper intimacy with Me, and I AM warning you to be determined to build yourself up in Faith.
Yes, DISCIPLINE will be your KEY to keep a single eye and Press In, to The Kingdom of God.
Beloved ones, stop and focus on what it means to “Press In,” because My Word says press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3)
“I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.“ Philippians 3:14.
You must conquer the PRESSURE of the WORLD by PRESSING IN.
Beloved, Paul set the bar high because he was Progressive. By Pressing in, he was able to make progress and move forward.
I AM stretching My People in this late hour, even as I stretched Paul.
He had to be willing to be stretched. He had to first be fully focused on pursuing the PRIZE of his high calling, as HE SET A GOAL IN HIS HEART.
Just as I laid down my life and for the JOY set before Me, I went to the Cross.
Paul set His heart on laying down his life, and he determined to finish with JOY.
I have been developing PATIENCE in My People in these last days, so that even as Paul, Patience shall have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
PRESS ON! PRESS IN! FINISH WELL!”
