Kindness Matters

Edification and education go hand in hand.

Posted on

To my family in The Body of Christ,

We only know what we know because it was taught to us, or revealed to us by Holy Spirit.

When we come on Facebook treating others like fools because they don’t yet know what we believe we know, we sound…

1. Prideful

2. Haughty

3. Like scoffers and mockers

In short….

Like absolute jerks

It makes me wonder if we truly heard from God because God doesn’t speak to His children that way.

There is a way to deliver information that is both true and respectful of the hearer.

We must check our tone, and then our heart.

If you want someone to hear your position, speak with kindness.

Edification and Education go hand in hand.

The question is this….

Do we seek to love, uplift, and exhort or do we just want to be heard?

Do we just want to be right?

Are we seeking validation from others who think like us?

This is spiritual immaturity, a gang mentality, and not of the Lord.

Kindness matters to God.

Colossians 4:6 says, “Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.”
