It’s not about us.
It’s not about my kinda church or your kinda church.
It’s not about my preferred prayers or favorite worship song.
And it’s not about yours.
It’s about Him.
It’s always been about Him.
His beauty.
His grace.
His majesty.
His holiness.
His righteousness.
It’s about Him, and then it’s about them…
The lost.
Communion is not about me.
Worship is not about me.
Serving is not about me.
Heck, my salvation stopped being about me the day Jesus decided to call me His own.
The only thing I brought to the table was my sin, and my yes.
It’s about JESUS.
The One who breathed the stars in the sky, and holds it all together with one command.
It’s about His desire that none would perish.
It’s about His love for the lost.
If we’re saved, we see His glory.
Now we have been commissioned to ensure others do too.
THAT’S THE POINT.
THAT’S OUR CALLING.
