As a young student brimming with ambition, I was convinced that my future lay in medicine. My vision was clear: excel in my studies, attend a prestigious university, and emerge as a doctor. Today, two decades later, instead of donning a white coat and stethoscope, I find myself in the heart of Silicon Valley, immersed in the tech industry. This shift from my initial dream was neither straightforward nor easy. It involved much soul-searching and a series of divine nudges that eventually steered me away from the medical field and towards a path I had never envisioned for myself.
The Turning Point: Embracing God’s Plan
My journey’s pivotal moment came when I faced the stark realization that my relentless pursuit of personal dreams might actually be veering me away from God’s unique plan for my life. The pursuit of my ambitions had become an idol, subtly taking precedence over my spiritual growth and obedience to God’s will.
