Free the Political Prisoners: Put J6ers and Tina Peters at the Top of the List

Monday is the “end of an error” and the official beginning of President Trump’s second term. Bold, swift action is warranted.

OPINION: One of the ugliest stains on our nation in its almost 250-year history has been created by the governmental weaponization deployed by the Biden Regime. They have more closely resembled a totalitarian regime than a constitutional republic administration, descending to third-world, banana republic practices.

Perhaps the worst victims beyond Donald Trump himself are the January 6th (J6) political prisoners and Tina Peters, the Gold Star Mom turned Colorado election clerk who upheld the law in administering the 2020 election.

Thousands remain in jail for trumped up and excessive charges, victims of what surely appears to be a false flag and entrapment scheme along with prosecutorial misconduct and a complete mockery of constitutional rights.

Tina’s conviction and jailing is an absolute travesty of justice. Her crime was making a forensic copy of the 2020 election results after being ordered to run a system update that would illegally wipe them out by the profoundly corrupt Attorney General Jenna Griswold. The key element of her actions is that it allegedly revealed that the election was rigged.

Today, lame duck illegitimate “President Joe Biden” continues with his record-smashing pardon spree as he prepares to exit the White House. In late December, he expanded the list by commuting the sentences of all criminals currently on death row except for the two white-skinned ones.

Before that, Biden led things off by issuing a blanket pardon to his son Hunter for all charged and uncharged crimes dating back to 2014 (if that’s even possible.) This might seem odd, perhaps even self-indicting, if not for active allegations from House investigation committees and the several hundred crimes alleged in the Marco Polo report that were discovered on Hunter’s abandoned laptop. You know, the one that 51 former intelligence officers falsely claimed to be Russian misinformation during the 2020 election campaign period.

Joe followed that up with an expansive list of pardons for others. To throw salt in the wounds, he honored the likes of Hillary Clinton, George Soros, and the woke Pope with Presidential Medals of Freedom.

Throughout this pardon spree, emboldened by Hunter’s blanket forgiveness, pundits and political operatives began floating the names of other candidates who may or may not have committed crimes in their political machinations and warfare.

Fear is running rampant about the possibility of investigations and prosecutions amongst political operatives and politicians whose fingerprints might be found on a myriad of alleged criminal conspiracies, including the Trump-Russia collusion hoax, the J6 “Fedsurrection” and the illegitimate investigative J6 Committee, the Covid-19 “Plandemic,” election fraud, and much more.

Throughout this amnesty gambit, Biden has not considered pardons for all the political prisoners that his regime has incarcerated over the past four years for misdemeanors or fake felonies, such as walking into the open capital or praying on the capital steps on January 6, 2021. Some were given long prison sentences for unsuccessfully trying to save a helpless woman from being beaten to death by a rogue police officer.

Recently, a limited hangout report by the inspector general indicated that the FBI had 26 human assets in the crowd that day. Representative Clay Higgins previously revealed that the House investigative committee had evidence of at least 200 government agency assets in the crowd.

Additionally, most of the 40,000 hours of video of the event have been hidden by the government. Still, even so, video clips have surfaced showing operatives and police inciting a peaceful crowd with munitions and rubber bullets, while others warmly welcomed visitors into the Capital. The video footage also shows non-MAGA-looking actors breaking windows with a battering ram handed to them from inside the building. Higgins shared video in Congress showing many unmarked buses arriving prior to the outbreak with what are speculated to be ANTIFA members.

On top of this, all the J6 committee “evidence” was illegally destroyed. The entire proceedings were literally a Hollywood production produced by a network executive and made a mockery of Justice with exculpatory evidence and counterarguments denied. The committee structure was not even legal or valid according to House rules.

Perhaps the most atrocious aspect of all of this surrounding J6 has been the horrific, inhumane, and third-world treatment of these victims. For most, their Constitutional rights were effectively stripped away, and the judicial process was stacked against them. Many have spoken out about being placed in endless solitary confinement, crucial medical care being denied, and being abused and tortured—even while they waited seemingly endlessly for a trial.

Against this backdrop, President Trump must take swift action, beginning on his first day in office, to free the political prisoners. They must be pardoned and released.

At the top of the list should be the J6 political prisoners and Tina Peters. And, when I say “the J6 political prisoners,”—I mean ALL OF THEM—not just the “non-violent” ones as J.D. Vance recently suggested.

No one had a weapon, and things such as touching a sign or holding an arm out to save a woman from being beaten to death were charged as violent crimes. I have yet to see video evidence of anyone truly acting violently other than cops.

This was a massive set-up. The victims were denied their constitutional rights as well as subjected to prosecutorial misconduct and tried by activist judges. Hearing their stories has been both heartbreaking and infuriating.

Regarding Tina, Trump will need to take a different route as she was convicted in Colorado of a state crime, so he cannot pardon her. Instead, Trump needs to bring the full weight of the federal government against the state to rectify this travesty of Justice and charge them with the crimes they have committed.

And, after that is set in motion, Trump should appoint a special counsel to prosecute all those who collaborated in the J6 conspiracy. This must be done in the interest of true justice and to deter such horrific weaponization and malfeasance from occurring in the future. Making restitution to these victims should also be running on a parallel track.

Monday is the “end of an error” and the official beginning of President Trump’s second term. Bold, swift action is warranted. Worry about criticism from the left (politicos and mainstream media) should be cast aside.

Mr. President, the ball is in your court. I would estimate that at least 75 million Americans are hopefully waiting for you to pardon and free the political prisoners to bring true justice.
