Empowered to Walk as Jesus Walked

I heard the LORD say: “When there is no Holy Spirit conviction, there is no relationship.”

Recently, I had a Dream that seemed to be pretty significant. In the dream, there was a group of people gathered in an area that I wasn’t familiar with, waiting to attend a meeting. There were mattresses lined up along the street for people to camp out overnight.

The scene then shifted to another location where I saw about twelve lions roaming freely outside in the streets.

There were a few people scattered around the area, and I watched to see if the lions would approach them.

That’s when I saw Heidi Baker. One of the lions walked up to her, gently began smelling her arm. I thought to myself: “Wow, he’s not attacking her because of her pure heart and her radical love for Jesus.”

For those of you who are not familiar with Heidi Baker, she and her husband, Rolland, have a ministry in Mozambique, Africa.

They’ve planted thousands of Churches and have experienced countless miracles in their meetings.

They’ve seen blind eyes open numerous times, and food miraculously multiplied to feed the poor.

Their ministry was influenced by the revival in Toronto, Canada, in 1994, where Heidi was commissioned by Randy Clark. I attended several of their meetings here in the USA, and the anointing was phenomenal.

I asked the LORD for the interpretation of this dream.

The outdoor mattresses may have symbolized a transitional phase or waiting period.

A time of rest, rejuvenation, and restoration for the people. Being set free from worldly constraints. A spiritual liberation where people can recover without being bound by limitations.

The dream then switched over to the wandering lions, which represent the lion’s den. In the book of Daniel, King Darius threw Daniel into the lion’s den to have him devoured by the lions.

But in the morning when he went to check on Daniel, he called out to him saying: “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?” Of course, he didn’t expect Daniel to answer.

Daniel replied to the king, “O king, live forever! My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you.”

This is what the LORD is showing me. Just as Daniel was a man of integrity, in my dream, Heidi Baker was symbolic of a godly woman of integrity.

According to the Bible, Daniel was a man of exceptional character, who had these amazing traits:

“Because of Daniels obedience, he and his friends were given knowledge and skill in literature and wisdom, and Daniel had understanding in visions and dreams.” Daniel 1:17-20.

“Daniel’s commitment to following God’s dietary laws.” Daniel 1:8-16.

“Daniel and his friends were given knowledge and skill in literature and wisdom, and Daniel had understanding in visions and dreams.” Daniel 1:17-20.

“Daniel prayed to God for wisdom and understanding.” Daniel 2:18-23.

“Daniel gave credit to God for revealing the dream and its interpretation.” Daniel 2:27-28.

“Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stood firm in their faith, refusing to worship the golden image.” Daniel 3:13-18.

“Daniel interpreted Nebuchadnezzar’s dream and gave glory to God.” Daniel 4:1-3.

“Daniel’s wisdom and understanding Faithfulness and Conviction surpassed the magician and enchanters.” Daniel 5:12.

“Daniel continued to pray to God despite the law prohibiting it.” Daniel 6:10.

“Daniel was thrown into the lions’ den but remained faithful to God.” Daniel 6:16-23.

“Daniel was a man of prayer, confession and supplication.” Daniel 9:3-19.

As I wrote this, I encountered some challenges, but I knew it was a word from the LORD.

Then I heard the LORD say: “When there is no Holy Spirit conviction, there is no relationship.”

I thought about that for a minute and remembered what I wrote the previous week.

The LORD is looking for those who tremble at His Word. Those who are lukewarm will not fulfill the plans that Jesus has for their lives, but it will be a hindrance until they make a decision to walk as Jesus walked.

Walking as Jesus walked isn’t about removing your earrings and wiping off your makeup; it’s the posture of your heart that honors God.

Some of you are ignoring the conviction of the LORD that you once took so seriously.

Your hearts are calloused, and you no longer hear with your spiritual ears or see with your spiritual eyes.

You may have a form of godliness — but deny its power!

The LORD wants to renovate your lives so that He can use you to demonstrate His power through you mightily in this end-time harvest.

“Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” 2 Corinthians 7:1.

“Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the LORD.” Hebrews 12:14.

“Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.” 1 John 2:6.
