Are we constantly aware that things that are huge now once had a small beginning? Perhaps, we have forgotten the growth process? The massiveness of the Redwood tree was once a small little seed that had to take time to grow to full maturity.
This seed had to be watered and dropped beneath the soil to take root, then required lots and lots of sun.
Sometimes we want the fullness, the full growth, and capacity of something but fail to realize there is always a process that must occur.
For a seed to grow, it must go through a process. For our ministries to grow and expand, there is an undertaking, a series of steps that we must grab hold of to achieve.
There’s a promise we can hold on to that alludes to starting out small or with little, then ending with much. That promise is: “Though you started with little, you will end with much.” Job 8: 7
When God’s favor is upon your life, everything that occurs is within His process.
So, if we want big, we must remember, “To be fruitful, we have to be seedful. We have to take the time to prepare the soil if we want it to embrace the seed.”
HOW SHOULD WE RESPOND? Decide today to take the smallest action, perhaps in a new direction, then embrace the grueling process of waiting and watching. Recall to mind that fruit on a tree grows from a tiny seed.
