Jesus has given us all authority in order to plunder and trample over all Satan’s power. However, if we don’t recognize an attacker for what it is or even accept it as normal, we will not resist that invader. Instead, we’ll tolerate it.

Peter and John met a lame man. Peter said “What I have, I give you. In Jesus’s name, get up and walk.” As a child and teenager, when my thoughts were wondering, I would sometimes fantasize about doing what Peter did. If I would believe, I would see the glory of God.

Contained within each testimony of God’s salvation is a deposit of the power of God, a well. When we tell the stories and thank God for what He did before, we are declaring God’s Word, and the same power is put into play in the present.
