In becoming co-dependent, we tend to lose ourselves to an addiction we never had. Breaking this cycle will allow your children to endure their consequences and release them to gain self-dependence.
Most times, spiritual narcissists demand honor and respect from others without ever making any real investment back.
God wired us to know Him. God sent Jesus to bring us closer to Him, and His death took away the great divide. Our brains are already wired to know Him, and we each have the innate need to connect with Him.
None of us can claim that we have not been given a calling from God. The Bible tells us that all believers have a part to play in her kingdom of God. And gifts are varied. Do u know what ur spiritual gift is?
I head back to a day when my son was still in the grips of his addiction and what that looked like—the odd behavior, the confusing talks, the constant motion from his high. We are so thankful that the “guy we used to know” has returned and is living well in his recovery today!
If it is true that we are made in the image of God, as the Bible teaches, then is it also true that the brain, which drives our thoughts, emotions, and functions in the body, is also made in His image?
