A Blessing

May your days ahead be many
and your sorrows, just a few.
May you always treat each other
as you’d have others treat you.

The bumps along your road in life
will not cause you to fall
if your days are filled with caring
for God’s creatures great and small.

If you follow God’s direction
and you answer to His call,
then some blessings are bestowed on you
most glorious of all.

When you follow His example
in your actions every day,
then some blessings of eternal life
and love will come your way.

A blessing straight from Heaven
will instruct your every deed.
Eternal life awaits for you
and love is all you need.

May wisdom, love, and caring
guide your actions and your heart
and bring you to eternal life
when this life you depart.
