The Priority of the Kingdom

Our lives are to reflect Him in all we do and say.

How important is the teaching on the kingdom?  It is the center of everything! God’s desire is to see His Kingdom established on the earth.  We, the body of Christ, the saints of God, exist to proclaim and demonstrate it.

Kingdom-focused people preach, teach, worship, and minister the Kingdom.

God’s plan for creating the world around us is that his invisible kingdom would be manifested here on the earth through us!  Jesus came and demonstrated that and left his mission to be completed by His disciples then and now.

Our mission is not just to get to heaven, it’s to release God’s kingdom, His image, His love here on the earth, to the people of the earth.

Our lives are to reflect Him in all we do and say.

That’s the purpose for Him inhabiting and saturating our lives.  Yes, we were created in His image, even before we knew Jesus.  He came so we could carry out what He began.  It all started in the beginning when God wanted us to dominate this world for Him, in Jesus’ name.

It amazes me that before coming to Jesus in full surrender, we bear His image.  Our Adamic nature needed Jesus to be inhabited by the living God.  “The first Adam became a living being; the last Adam a life-giving spirit.”  (1 Corinthians 15: 45) Yes, the last Adam is Jesus.

Kingdom-minded followers know that Jesus is not an unknown god.

He is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not dwell in temples made with hands.  He gives life to all life, breath and all things.  For in Him we live and move and have our being.”  (Acts 17: 23-25, 28)

Paul had arrived in Athens and he was quite provoked that the city was given over to idols.  He was questioned about his teaching on Jesus and the resurrection.   He talks to them about an altar that he found that had an inscription on it saying, “To The Unknown God.”  It was there that he declared Jesus as a personal God, the Creator.

KINGDOM PRINCIPLE:   Make Him known among the earth what He has done; and proclaim and exalt His name–the Savior of The World.
