Shame

Satan knows this—he can’t have your soul, but he wants you to believe that God changed His mind about you.

As a blood-bought believer, sin no longer holds the penalty of death and eternal separation from our Father.

So why does the enemy still pursue us?

Why does he test and tempt us daily, trying to make us walk as less than who we are in Christ?

Shame.

That’s the answer.

When I am shackled by shame, I am ineffective. How can I lead others to the cross if I am bound by the accusations and lies of the enemy? How can I walk in my calling if I believe I am unworthy of it?

Satan knows this—he can’t have your soul, but he wants you to believe that God changed His mind about you. That your past disqualifies you. That your worst day as a believer is who you really are.

He wants you to believe that God’s grace has run out.

But God never changes His mind.

His grace is infinite.

Write this down. Hold onto it.

He has removed your shame forever.

“Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.” — Psalm 34:5

“As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.” — Psalm 103:12

“Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance.” — Isaiah 61:7

Let the accuser whisper all he wants—the blood of Jesus speaks a better word. (Hebrews 12:24)

Shame is not your portion.
