More Love

Remember the lyrics of the old Michael W. Smith song, “More Love, More Power?”  

The words are as a simple prayer asking for more.  

“More love, more power
More of You in my life.
More love, more power
More of You in my life.

And I will worship You with all of my heart,
I will worship you with all of my mind,
I will worship you with all of my strength,
For You are my Lord.”  

Why do we think the enemy keeps us busy?  So, we will neglect the important component of receiving more love and more power. 

Worship and prayer are the steps that need to be taken as we pursue more of God.  

Part of the exhortation to “Press In, Ask For More In 2024,” is found in pressing in.  It takes time to pray and worship.  It takes preparation and a mindset to pursue and establish it as a spiritual discipline.  

Those disciplines are prayer, Bible reading, worship, loving God, and one another. 

Position and condition yourself for more.  He’s going to meet us like never before!

“To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.”  Mark 12: 33

Mary Beth Pecora, a faithful wife, mother, grandmother, friend, worshiper and servant leader, who loves life and loves people.
