Are you needing someone to hear you? I found this prayer for help in the book of Psalms when it seems that all men are faithless and every tongue false. But our God is not.
Here’s what, “The Lord replies, “I have seen violence done to the helpless, and I have heard the groans of the poor. Now I will rise up to rescue them, as they have longed for me to do.” Psalm 12: 5
Whatever you are longing for the Lord to do may He rise up on your behalf.
As He rises up on our behalf, let’s rise up with Him in believing and trusting that He is hearing our cries and will protect us from any malignment or false accusations or any other unspoken needs that He knows, sees, and hears.
Position yourself this day to act and say, “…I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, for He has been good to me.” Psalm 13: 5
Sometimes we might just need to change our focus not on where we are, but what He has done for us.
However, if you are in a dangerous situation, seek out help and remove yourself from that danger.
Resolve today that “I call on you, O God; for you will answer me; give ear to me and hear my prayer.” Psalm 17: 6
He doesn’t promise when He’ll answer, but He will answer. It’s in the waiting that we grow. Remember that His timing is usually different than ours. His timing is perfect. He sees past, present, and future. He moves on our behalf to rescue and restore.
