The Holy Spirit showed me something very interesting recently. He showed me a Bear in Hibernation.
The Bear was sleeping soundly and appeared to be without a care in the world. The LORD said that many in The Body of Christ have been experiencing a similar state of spiritual hibernation.
However, just like the Bear eventually wakes up from hibernation and emerges into a new season, The Body of Christ is about to awaken from its spiritual slumber.
Hibernation is a fascinating natural process, that allows certain animals to enter into a deep sleep during the winter months, conserving energy and surviving cold weather conditions.
During hibernation, an animal’s heart rate, breathing, and metabolic rate significantly slow down. This allows them to conserve energy and survive for long periods of time without food or water. When a Bear comes out of hibernation, the first thing that he looks for is food.
The LORD is showing me that many have been stuck in a season when they’ve become so spiritually stagnant that the things of God no longer move them.
There was a time when you read the Word of God for hours on end, searching for Revelation and the hidden mysteries of His Kingdom.
The conferences that you used to attend no longer excite you. You’ve become so complacent that you don’t even realize how far you’ve drifted away.
You have been lulled to sleep and lost your zeal for The LORD.
Some are battle weary from the constant fight for their lives, and some are burdened down and broken by hurts, misfortunes, and sickness that they’ve endured.
Some of you just want to crawl back into your cave and hibernate for another Season. But just like the Bear, it’s time for you to wake up and shake off the slumber that has made you lethargic.
The LORD is calling you to rise up and come back into alignment with Him.
He has not forgotten you and He will strengthen you once again. It’s time to speak to the mountains, decree, and declare the Word of God as you once did.
- Stir up that well that runs deep on the inside of you.
- Stir up the gifts that The LORD has imparted to you.
- Pray in The Spirit.
…. and as you do, you will be speaking The Holy Spirit’s perfect Plan and Divine Mysteries.
The LORD says: “It’s time to emerge from your time of hibernation.
I will use that time of hiding as a womb that incubates and gives birth to something powerful inside of you.
Every challenge and opposition that you’ve faced will be an opportunity for growth and a chance to come up higher.
Allow Me to renew your zeal, your joy and your strength as your relationship is renewed with Me.
Open your ears to hear My Voice once again.
As you begin to pray, you will experience the transformational power of My Presence.
As you open your mouth and speak, rivers of living water will flow from your innermost being.
Do not allow these rivers to become stagnant.
When you worship, you will cultivate a spiritual atmosphere and I will open up the floodgates so that you will be immersed in My tangible Presence,” says The LORD.
“Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me.” Psalm 139:7-10
