Over the past several years Holy Spirit has taught me about living a culture of honor.
This past year was an extension of that lesson.
The Lord has taught me how to exit fruitless debates.
He’s released me from the need to be right and has taught me how to rest in the fact that He is.
He’s taught me how to stop poking holes in other’s theology, and instead, to pray He exposes any holes in my own.
2024 was hard.
Really hard.
Often lonely.
Often uncomfortable.
Often exhausting.
But was it fruitful?
YES!
What am I asking the Lord to teach me in 2025?
Lord teach me how to better…
encourage
edify
exhort
And love.
Love above all things.
Teach me how to better appreciate those who don’t look like me, sound like me, and worship like me.
This is what makes us beautiful, and unique.
We’re a beautiful tapestry.
A mosaic of our King.
Help me Lord to love like you.
Help me to be a proper image bearer.
Help me to see YOU in everyone I encounter.
Teach me how to treat everyone with love.
Teach me how to honor other’s life experiences.
Teach me to sit at your feet, and listen.
Truly listen….and then change me.
In 2025 I seek to learn how to love.
Truly love.
I want to love others the way I’m loved by the Father.
Rich in mercy, and grace.
2025 is the year of “heart posture.”
My heart posture.
I pray He changes me to reflect more of Him.
May we continue to grow in Him – together.
Thank you, Lord, for 365 days of Your goodness.
