2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Break Down:
If my people
Not the world.
God’s people.
which are called by my name
Followers of The Messiah, Jesus Christ
shall humble themselves
Complete and total submission to God and recognize that we’ve gotten it all wrong. That we have forgotten why Jesus came. That we have strayed far from the heart of the Father.
and pray
This doesn’t require explanation other than, these aren’t 5 second prayers.
and seek my face
This is different than prayer.
This is the secret place.
This is intimacy.
This is getting to the Heart of the Father which is seeking the lost, sharing the gospel, and serving the least.
and turn from their wicked ways
Idols – all idols.
Politics
Money
Platforms
Promotion
Agendas
Dividing ourselves into 30,000 denominations vs operating together as one body with different parts.
then will I hear from heaven
This is a promise
and will forgive their sin
True repentance.
and will heal their land.
