Take Your Seat, My Child!

You are a Child of Light seated beside LIGHT.

Posted on

I heard, “Take your seat, My Child!”

I was thinking today about The Throne Room of God. Suddenly, it was as if I was there, in my mind and in my spirit.

I heard the most beautiful ethereal music and felt such a Powerful yet Loving Presence.

All of Heaven is filled with God’s Presence. Pure Peace, Pure Joy, and Pure Love permeated the Air. The POWER I felt did not cause fear but elation.

Do you know, Beloved of God, we have been raised up with Christ and seated with Him in the Heavenly Realms?

Our Abba Father did this so that in all the coming ages He might display the surpassing riches of His Grace demonstrated by His KINDNESS to us in Christ Jesus.

We are not standing or kneeling but we are SEATED beside our Father in Christ Jesus. Think on this. Sitting beside a King is a place of great honor.

Sitting denotes resting. Jesus has rested from His Works and so have we. You are not a mere subject or servant but you are a son or daughter of God!

God wants us to be HEAVENLY MINDED. YES! This is a GOOD thing.

I went and looked at the commentaries for Ephesians 2:6 and it says that Abba Father has given us a “joint seat” with Him.

Isn’t that amazing to think about? You are enthroned in Heavenly Places, hidden in Christ Jesus. Your Father has blessed you with every spiritual blessing IN THE HEAVENLY REALMS.

“Beloved. I AM calling you to enter My Sabbath Rest.

For whoever enters My Rest also rests from his own work, just as your God did from His.

Can you hear the Spirit calling your name?

My Rest is not for a certain day, but it is a permanent Place in Me.

I want you to cease your striving to do enough or be good enough. It is finished, My Child. I have called you to rest in Me. Our work is finished.

You have been saved by Grace. Not by works lest any should boast. It is beside Me that you come fully alive.

For the flesh would always seek the darkness, but you are Light in Me. You are a Child of Light seated beside LIGHT.

I have translated you from the kingdom of darkness into My Marvelous Light.

You walk in the Spirit now and not the flesh. I want you to see from My Perspective. Close your eyes and think on Me and not the things of the world.

I have promised that My Peace that passes all understanding would guard your heart and mind.

Therefore think on whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think on these things.

For you have been exalted into a celestially enlightened, pure, and holy state of Life in Christ. Yes, My Child!

You have a joint seat with Your Savior. Here the privileges of heaven are dispensed, the Pure Air of heaven is breathed, and the enjoyment of heaven is known.

Take your seat, Beloved! Even now, you are seated in Heavenly Realms in Me.

I AM in you and you in Me. No longer consider the cares of the world. Remember who you are in the Righteous One.

And ALL these things will be added unto you. Come Weary One, rest and bask in the Dominion of the Exalted One!”

“And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages He might display the surpassing riches of His grace, demonstrated by His kindness to us in Christ Jesus..” Ephesians 2:6-7.

RAISED US UP WITH CHRIST: “EVEN NOW we sit there in Him, and shall sit with Him in the end” (Andrews, cited by Ellicott). Compare Romans 8:30Revelation 3:21. Meyer renders “hath given us joint seat.” In Christ Jesus, Connect with, raised up, made us sit in heavenly places. Resurrection, enthronement, heaven, all are in Christ.” (Vincent’s Word Studies)

MADE US SIT TOGETHER WITH HIM IN THE HEAVENLY: REALMS SEATED us with Him: Strong’s Greek 4776: To cause to sit down with, sit down together. From sun and kathizo; to give a seat in company with.
“With Christ, namely, in His ascension. Believers are bodily in heaven in point of right, and virtually so in spirit, and have each their own place assigned there, which in due time they shall take possession of.” (Ephesians 3:20-21)

“Our great Representative is there, “sitting at the right hand of God” (Colossians 3:1). We, as “in Him,” vitally united to Him, are there also, in the sense of a supreme acceptance and welcome by the Eternal Father, and of the sure prospect of heavenly glorification together [with Christ] (Romans 8:17). (Cambridge Bible Study)

IN HEAVENLY PLACES: Ephesians 1:3 “All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing IN THE HEAVENLY REALMS because we are united with Christ.”
“Believers are already spiritually raised; they will be raised in the body; and to each of the two resurrections the sitting in heavenly places corresponds. They are not present in heaven in the body, but they are so in point of right, and VIRTUALLY IN THE SPIRIT, and they have individually a seat expressly assigned to them, which is to be taken possession of at the proper time. They are for a while hidden in Christ beside God.; (Colossians 3:3).” (Bengel’s Gnomen)

“As God placed Jesus at His right hand in heaven, so He has placed His people with Him in heavenly places; i.e. places where the privileges of heaven are dispensed, where the air of heaven is breathed, where the fellowship and the enjoyment of heaven are known, where an elevation of spirit is experienced as if heaven were begun.” (Pulpit Commentary)

“And has given to us joint-seat in the heavenly regions (comp. Ephesians 1:20), so that we have part (see on 1 Corinthians 6:2) in the dominion of the Exalted One, (2 Timothy 2:12); which Paul likewise sees as already accomplished with the installing of Christ at the right hand of God. Exaltation into a celestially enlightened, pure, and holy, state of life. Matthies: “The spiritual kingdom of heaven or of God.” Olshausen: “The awakening of the heavenly consciousness.” (Meyer’s NT Commentary)

“The LORD (Yahweh) says to my Lord (Yeshua),” Sit at My right hand.” (The New Testament shows that this is a prophecy about the Lord Jesus. (e.g. Matthew 26:64) “The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand until I make thine enemies thy footstool.” (Psalm 110:1).

“He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature, and He upholds the universe by the word of His power. After making purification for sins, He SAT DOWN at the right hand of the Majesty on high,” Ephesians 1:3.

The “right hand” is seen as a place of honor and status throughout the biblical text. When the Bible makes statements that Jesus Christ sits at the right hand of the Father, it is affirming that He has equal status to the Father within the Godhead (Hebrews 1:312:21 Peter 3:22Acts 7:55-56)

Being seated at the right hand of God means that Jesus shares God’s strength, authority, and blessing. It is the highest place and the highest honor possible. When Jesus is seated at the right hand of God, it means all other things and other beings are under Him. We read this in 1 Peter 3:22: “Jesus Christ, who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers having been subjected to Him.”

“After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.” Mark 16:19.

“There remains, then, a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For whoever enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His.” Hebrews 4:9-10.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think on these things.…” Philippians 4:6-8.

“I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You have sent Me. The glory that You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one even as We are one, I in them and You in Me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that You sent Me and loved them even as You love Me.” John 17:20-23.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33.
