Unbroken Love

“He mends the brokenhearted and binds up our wounds.” If you are still mending, run to him–He’s waiting to wrap His arms around you.

How is it even possible to receive an unbroken love when everything around us is broken?   We have lived in broken homes, have broken lives caused by addiction, broken covenants in marriage, etc.  The list goes on and on, too numerous to count.

But there is one place we can all run to for a consistent unbroken love–run to our Lord Jesus Christ.  “He mends the brokenhearted and binds up our wounds.”  If you are still mending, run to him–He’s waiting to wrap His arms around you.

He comes close to the broken.

He understands what it means to be broken.  His body was broken. His heart was broken when those who followed Him deserted and one betrayed Him.  Yes, His physical body was broken, but not one of his bones were.  Figure that one out!

Before He was crucified, He said to His friends, at the Last Supper, “Do this in remembrance of me.  He took bread, gave thanks, broke it and gave it to His disciples saying, “Take and eat this is my body broken for you.”  (Matthew 26: 26)

Yes, He was broken and wounded for our sin, yet by His stripes, we are healed.

Cling to His healing love; He will not forsake you.

Cling to His Truth; He will set you free.

Cling to His Word; He will renew His strength.

When we come to His renewed love then,“We dedicate ourselves to living an unbroken faith demonstrated by His love and perseverance.”  (Titus 2: 2)

Let His amazing love lead you straight to a life of unbroken faith.  He is wanting to demonstrate His love through you.  He will give you the perseverance to do so, through His precious Holy Spirit, which now resides in us.
