Recently, I had a short dream that was specific to a dear friend and his wife. However, the Holy Spirit impressed upon me that it is for those who they represent as well. They represent people who fully embrace their calling, who desire to live for God and bring His Kingdom to the earth, and who are willing to do whatever it takes to do all that He sets before them.
In the dream, my friend was telling me he was having a problem getting an airplane flight. He had one for the next day scheduled but wanted to leave this day. In the dream, I told him, “It is cleared, you are not to wait, you need to take that flight today.” The Lord is saying the way is clear and the time right, He is with you and clearing obstacles for smooth sailing. Vehicles and planes can represent ministry, and it is clear in its meaning – no more delays, it is time to move forward! As I sought Him further, He brought two scriptures to my mind:
“Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.” (Jos 1:3 KJV)
“I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:” (Isa 45:2 KJV)
The Spirit of the Lord gave me a vision of feet being anointed with oil and fire – His Spirit moving upon, in, and through us. Every obstacle shall be removed as we move forward in what He has put on our hearts. He makes the crooked places straight – He will give insight and clarity in every place that your mind has been going around and around in circles, weighing the options, trying to figure out how to accomplish it. No longer will you operate in your own understanding, but following the directive of the Lord, even as Abraham was called forth to move forward but not told where he was going!
When I shared the dream with my friend, God gave him a picture of my face and my right foot moving forward, stepping forward into something new, and declaring the truth in that place. This was a beautiful confirmation of what the Lord has been speaking to me and my husband as we have been seeking His will in this new season. It also confirmed the dream as well as the subsequent scriptures and picture He gave me!
As our face is set like flint, Kingdom-minded, wherever we step He has given us authority and goes before us, preparing the way. Right represents authority. As we move forward into all that He sets before us, we are mantled with His authority, and our steps are baptized with fire and anointed with oil to accomplish the works in His power and authority.
Regarding the one-day delay in the dream, I believe it can represent delay in general but also the mindset of discouragement that can creep in after many delays and obstructions. Also, generally, we tend to put things off when we are not certain of the timing. The timing is now; I heard Him saying, I am anointing your steps, move forward!
I break off discouragement and doubt, every lying voice of negativity and fear that has entered your ear. I declare the strongholds of unbelief and double-mindedness to be uprooted, and the roots of faith and courage planted by the in-dwelling Lord to grow strong and prosper!
I hear Him say, “The time is now; I will lead you and show you where and how! The vision will become clear when to Me you stay near. Every obstacle will be removed, for from before time I have declared the works approved. I go before you and make the crooked places straight, follow me and do not wait; I will show Myself as mighty and great! This is the time, this is the hour. I am anointing your steps; go forward in My authority and power!”
