His Rule Is Above All

Are we walking in His authority? To walk in His authority, it requires us to be raised up. We have been given access to all who Jesus is.

The very thought that “God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms IN Christ Jesus,” (Ephesians 2: 6) overwhelms me.

God wants us to know that He raises us up and releases heavenly realms to us so that we can release to others. The vastness of “His rule is above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.” (Ephesians 1: 21)

When one is seated…we are invited to His table and He has pulled out the chair for us–as His honored guest. I can’t help imagine what will happen when we get to His banqueting table in heaven.

However, we do not have to wait to be raised up–He already did that, spiritually.

HEAVENLY REALMS

Jesus opened up the heavenly realms to us in His power and authority. Are we walking in His authority? To walk in His authority, it requires us to be raised up. We have been given access to all who Jesus is. Ponder that for a minute! (Sela)

He has told us we are “Blessed in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.” (Ephesians 1: 3)

The benefits are union with Jesus Christ and authority over all other powers and titles. If you desire a “title,” or “high position,” you’ve already been given one, IN Christ!

When Jesus raised us up, it was not for us to be displayed, but to be dispersed in Him, being, “Marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance.” (Ephesians 1: 13-14)

If you read through the book of Ephesians, we see that we are being made alive in Christ–through the Holy Spirit. We are made one in Christ, “For through Him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.” (Ephesians 2: 18)

To live as children of the Light, being “Strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.” (Ephesians 6: 10) I am so glad that I don’t have to be strong in my own might, cause I can’t do that.  Yet, He makes me strong!

How do we let Him make us strong? By sitting with Him. He then empowers us, “With our FEET FITTED with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.” (Ephesians 6: 15)

ARE YOUR FEET READY?

I didn’t ask if your feet are pretty.  Jesus calls your feet beautiful! “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who PROCLAIM peace, who BRING good tidings, who PROCLAIM SALVATION who say, “OUR GOD REIGNS.” (Isaiah 52: 7)

The seat of honor has raised us up IN Him and releases us out. Releases us to proclaim and declare He reigns.

The Apostle Paul wrote this book, wanting to expand the horizons of his readers, to help us understand better the dimensions of God’s eternal purpose and grace. He wanted us to come to appreciate the High goals He has for His church. Seated with Christ, is extremely high! It doesn’t get any better or any higher than that! The eternal dimensions of God cannot be measured.

I am learning to let Him expand the horizons of my mind, that always want to confine and FIT HIM in some kind of box. All along, He is wanting to have our FEET FITTED with readiness.

Now look down upon your feet and call them beautiful and ready. That’s where God wants us to FIT IN!

Appreciating His High Goals,
