Forensic pathologist Grace Reilly has seen her share of unusual deaths in rural Missouri. But when she begins to notice a curious pattern in autopsies of elderly residents whose demise appears to be natural, she takes her concerns to Sheriff Nate Cox.

Nate is skeptical about the link Grace is seeing between the deaths–and her suspicions of foul play. But her persistence is compelling. Once she finally convinces him her theory is credible and they join forces to investigate, danger follows. Because exposing the truth could destroy several lives–including Grace’s.

Queen of inspirational romantic suspense Irene Hannon closes out her bestselling Triple Threat series with this gripping tale of secrets revealed and romance sparked.

My Thoughts

I love Irene Hannon. Whether it’s romantic suspense or contemporary romance, she hits it out of the park every time. Body of Evidence is no exception.

Hannon drops clues and red herrings throughout the book that kept me guessing. And when I got to the ending I was so surprised at the killer’s identity and yet it made perfect sense. I tell you what, this mystery will keep you on your toes!

Then there’s the romantic tension. There’s quite an obstacle between Grace and Nate at the beginning. But I love how it’s dealt with, especially with how upfront they are with each other. Watching their romance grow was just as exciting as seeing them put together the pieces of the mystery.

Overall, Body of Evidence is a gripping tale with intrigue and romance. If you love romantic tension and suspense, you don’t want to miss Hannon’s new release.

Though it’s part of a series, you can enjoy this book as a standalone. However, I highly recommend reading Point of Danger and Labyrinth of Lies first so you enjoy Cate’s and Eve’s cameos.

Purchase Body of Evidence here.
