The phrase “archway of trust” kept being highlighted in my spirit, so I dug deeper to understand why. Here’s my discovery:
God not only calls us TO the archway, but He calls us THROUGH the archway. When we stand under an archway we are standing under an entrance or passage. In Israel, there are archways everywhere. These beautiful curved structures are not only places to pose and get pictures of, but they are entrance ways into another place.
How is your trust level? Are our lives structured deep in trusting God? When we fully trust God we allow every part of us to be completely in His trust, that it becomes an archway over us. It’s interesting that a rainbow is in the shape of an archway. His covenant promises are over us!
Our trust level has to be above every other structure or belief system that we have built over our lives or built our lives upon.
God calls us to “Come with me through the archway of trust.” Song of Songs 4: 8
Once we walk through this archway of trust, what’s next? “We will look down from the crest of the glistening mounts and from the summit of our sublime sanctuary. Together we will wage war in the lion’s den and the leopard’s lair as they watch nightly for their prey.” Song of Songs 4: 8
Here’s what deeply “Trusting Him” produces:
- Trusting Him from a different level will enable us to stand strong with the Lord by our side.
- Trusting Him as we stand on the summit gives us a view from above.
- Trusting Him enables us to see the warfare and cause us to see the battle.
- Trusting Him is a weapon of warfare.
- Trusting Him will hunt those down who are looking to devour their prey.
A deeper level of trusting God causes us to walk through this “new way” (entranceway) of living. When we walk through, His covenant promises are over us.
A rainbow is an arch of colors formed by the reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky. There are seven colors displayed in the rainbow. The number seven symbolizes completeness.
May our trust reflect and refract a new level that will be dispersed in our lives, as we embrace this “new way” (entranceway) of walking and living. His completeness is in His covenant promises!
