Let My Glory Be Seen Through You Today

Let go of pride and all ambition, and you will receive divine ammunition.

A few weeks ago as I was walking and thanking God for the early spring flowers that were coming forth in their beauty, I heard Him say, “For My Bride to arise in full array, let My glory be seen through you today!”

Immediately I remembered that some years ago the Holy Spirit revealed something in the Book of Esther that impacted me deeply. Queen Vashti refused to come forth at the King’s beckoning when he wanted to show off her beauty (Esther 1:11). She was cast out from her position as queen; she was rebelling against his authority! Hechoseher as queen. At that time, I was challenged greatly because I liked to stay in the shadows, under the radar, hidden and incognito. I know that there are many that feel the same way, and I understand! At times I still have to push myself to get “out there,” but He is worthy to be seen and known!

The Lord was saying, “Come forth and let My beauty, My gifts in you, radiate so that others will see how great I AM.” Not me, Him. By not submitting to His authority, I was rebelling against His Lordship in my life. The King not only took this as an offense, but He saw that if allowed, it would cause other women to not honor their husbands. It made me wonder if perhaps my prayers for others to come forth into all that He is in them are hindered when I don’t allow Him to be seen through my own life! False humility is rebellion! It’s not about us, Jesus said He has given us His glory! It’s time to let His glory be seen through us!

“And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:” (John 17:22 NKJV)

I heard the Lord say this, Awaken My glory, awaken, awaken; you have perceived yourself as one forsaken, diminished, allowing My glory to be taken undercover in darkness, now I speak awaken, awaken. Release, let My glory free, the multitudes will see and worship ME!’

I love how the Passion Translation version of Song of Songs, Chapter 2 verses 11-13a expresses so beautifully the transition of seasons:

“The season has changed, the bondage of your barren winter has ended, and the season of hiding is over and gone. The rains have soaked the earth and left it bright with blossoming flowers. The season for singing and pruning the vines has arrived. I hear the cooing of doves in our land, filling the air with songs to awaken you and guide you forth.

Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of MY purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, “There is change in the air.”

It’s time to come out of hiding, and let His glory be seen! I heard the Lord say to tell you, “I am bidding you to come forth in My glory – you are moving from hidden to bidden!”

Embrace Your New Identity

After Vashti lost her position, Esther was raised up by God to be queen for a purpose– so that she could gain favor from the King and save her people from destruction. She was chosen for an overturning of the enemy’s plans against God’s people! You are chosen by the King of Kings, to walk in His authority for the overturning of the enemy’s plans.

When Esther was chosen by the King she embraced her new identity – she no longer acted as a fearful young girl. She knew that it was not her purpose, but the Lord’s. Because she walked in humility and pleased the King, she was highly favored and was able to gain divine strategy to overturn Haman’s plan to destroy the Jews.

The Spirit of the Lord is guiding you, leading you, confirming you as you walk in humility and obedience to give you divine strategy to overturn the enemy’s plans! I heard Him say, “You don’t need to know how when before Me you bow. Let go of pride and all ambition, and you will receive divine ammunition. Obedience in humility gives place for My authority! I will give you the words to say, every moment of every day, when your plan and desires before Me you lay, choosing to listen and obey. I will bring the victory in every situation – your life, your city, your state, and nation – when you, My Bride, are rightly stationed, living for Me and giving Me full adoration, allowing My glory to be your proclamation.”

The Lord says, “It’s time for the enemy’s plans to be overturned…IN My people!”

It’s time to overturn the old nature; you are a new creation in Christ (2 Cor. 5:17). You are chosen, called, and ordained to do the works God has prepared for you (Eph. 1:4, 2:10; 2 Tim. 1:9). Renew your mind to the reality of the finished work of Christ and the truth that the enemy no longer has a hold on you…unless you allow him place. It’s time to overcome old nature thoughts – fear, shame, insecurity, passivity, etc., and every voice that contradicts the truth of the reality of the covenantal relationship we have with the King and His purposes. I heard the Spirit of the Lord say, “Embrace your place in My story, let go of all fear; trust Me, for I am always near; let My voice be the one you hear!”

One of my favorite accounts in scripture relating to new identity and covenantal reality is that of Mephibosheth. King David was seeking to bless anyone remaining of the house of Saul because of his covenant with Saul’s son Jonathan. Mephibosheth, lame in his feet since his youth and living in poverty, was brought to the King’s palace to eat at his table forever, and all the land of Saul was restored to him (2 Samuel 9). The Father’s desire is to restore to us all that has been lost to the enemy, through the covenant we have by the blood of Jesus!

Trial By Fire

Some of you are in a season of trials and feel there is no hope. Peter talks about the fiery trials we have so our faith comes out as pure gold – glory!“Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.” (1Pe 4:12-13 NKJV)

I heard the Lord say, “Lay down your thoughts, your will, your plans, lay it under the winnowing fan of the glorified Son of Man. Lay down your need to understand, trust MY thoughts, MY will, MY plans; obey, and then you will understand. You are set free from the bonds of the past, the flesh, the soul, now let My glory being revealed through you be your goal.

For I declare you wholly mine, created for me by MY design. Into this truth you must be aligned – for My glory to flood the earth, you must walk in the reality of the new birth. Born of me by My mercy and grace, through My blood all sin erased. Now move forward from this place with your eyes fixed upon My face. I have declared you a new creation, let Me be given full exultation among all people, tribes, and nations. For My Bride to be seen in full array, let My glory be seen through you, today.”
