YOU BEHOLD HIS BEAUTY. Don’t let anyone ever tell you anything different. “My beloved is a bouquet of flowers in the gardens of En Gedi.” Song Of Solomon 1: 14
En Gedi is a lush oasis set between the harsh Judean desert and the sterile Dead Sea. It is filled with freshwater springs, waterfalls and rock cliffs. People go there to be refreshed.
We visited there and it is absolutely breathtaking. David hid there, in the cleft of the rocks, and was sustained and sought refuge by the Lord.
You, as the Lord’s beloved, bring refreshment and life to folks. Within you is the beauty and fragrance of the Lord. He shall strengthen you and release you to obedience to Him and to others. He is your refuge.
The tradition of a bride carrying flowers signified new beginnings, fidelity and hope of fertility. The position of the bouquet being in the garden of En Gedi is very important. As the Bride of Christ, the Living Water–Jesus, is our own personal oasis that we can draw from. He is our bouquet that we receive from.
The Lord wants us to know that He has positioned us to loyalty, obedience and fruitfulness. We become that spring to others, as He is poured out within us and upon us. Let Him sweep over you, continually. He is calling us deeper.
“Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me.” Psalm 42: 7
His beauty, fragrance, strength, and power are all inside you. See yourself as that lovely bouquet and display, a display of His glory.
Every lady I know loves receiving flowers. You are that bouquet! Go buy yourself some flowers, or pick some, as a reminder that you are special, and you reflect Him. Dress and display your table and fill your home with flowers. You carry Him. As you hold your flowers, refresh your memory, on what He has said about you: Yes, you behold His beauty!
