Happy New Year from Kingdom Winds!

A special 2022 New Year’s message from Gary and Elizabeth Suess.

Posted on

Today we turn the calendar page, perhaps only digitally, to a new year. Beginnings are surely exhilarating. Starting fresh with a clean slate is both freeing and exciting.

Being able to look ahead with anticipation to all the future holds while letting go of the less positive parts of our past is a welcome exercise for most of us.

Listening to God’s heart for our family and Kingdom Winds within the upcoming year is an important focus for Gary and me. We seek direction, confirmation, and recalibration of where our attention should be placed going forward.

Although stepping into each year holds promise and hope which we love to celebrate, we are more thankful for the blessing of the fresh starts which are available to us any time we ask God to supply one.

Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish, for His mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness!”—Lamentations 3:22-23 CSB

And likewise, our gratitude rises as we remind ourselves that Jesus has provided for us a clean slate which is available to us as often as we turn to Him and confess our sins.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
—‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭CSB‬‬

We are looking forward to all the blessings God has stored up for us in 2022. Being in His presence surely is the most significant of all.

From our Kingdom Winds family to yours, we bless you with hope and joy as you step into the new year with Jesus by your side!
