I wrote these words in 2020 and they are a good reminder of who we are and what He has given us authority to do!
Today I want to remind you that YOU have been given the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Shake off the stupor and any other thought that renders you hopeless, powerless, and subject to the spirit of the world. YOU are not a victim but a priest and a king! YOU have the authority to PROHIBIT and to PERMIT what happens on earth. It is time to use the keys we’ve been given and to bind and loose! As we take back our authority and together begin to bind and loose (prohibit and permit) then we will see things shift and open for a great awakening…both personally and corporately.
“I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you prohibit on earth will have been prohibited in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will have been permitted in heaven.” Matthew 16:19
I was just sharing with someone that I honestly believe that one of the greatest battles that is being fought right now is over the “image of God” that is in all mankind. The enemy hates His image when he looks at us. He is jealous of His beauty- the beauty revealed in us. He hates God and hates His identity in us. That is why he works so hard to dishonor and destroy purity, innocence, identity, gender, marriage, family, sexuality, and everything that is holy…everything that reveals God’s image. That is why any church leader or political leader or parent that stands against this onslaught is hit with such great warfare and hatred.
But– together we can rise up in agreement with heaven and loose what is holy, pure, and righteous and bind all that stands against God’s ways and truths. We have the keys but many are not using them so the way of breakthrough remains locked while the enemy defiles our children and our nations. It’s time to pull out our keys and begin to lock and unlock, bind and loose, prohibit and permit. Our world depends on us walking in what we’ve been given authority to steward and protect. We are not victims but rather we are the victorious warriors who have received the victory that was purchased by the Lamb that was slain.
May the spirit of David, of Moses, of Joseph, of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob…the spirit of Mary, Deborah, Lydia and Esther come upon us and get us up out of our pit of self-pity and defeat to begin to be the heroes of faith that we have been called to be. Yes, I’m even preaching to myself! I say this in passion and in love because we are so much more than we are often living out.
Rise up sons and daughters of the King! It’s time to prohibit demonic activity and permit the Kingdom of God and righteousness to saturate our homes and nations.
