How long will you wait to take possession of what the Lord has given you?
This is what Joshua asked the Israelite’s before they took the promised land (Joshua 18:3).
The Lord said He left us peace and Joy. He made it so that our joy would be made full and gave us the ability to create wealth. There are so many blessings and gifts that we have because we are children of the most high God. The problem is that many of us do not take possession of these gifts. We still stress about our everyday lives and do not live in the peace and joy that was left to us. We try to get our peace from this world, but Jesus said that the peace He left us is not like the one that is in the world.
Life is so much better when we decide to live the way the Lord says to live and stop living by the world’s standards. Take possession of what is rightfully yours and when the enemy tries to come against you, submit to God, and rebuke him. He will flee from you. It is a daily discipline but we must set our minds on things above and not on what is below. It is time to stop living a life we were never meant to live and time to pick up the yoke of God which is easy and light in order to live the life we were created to live.
