Whose Words are You Sowing?

To not reject a word spoken over you is virtually the same thing as agreeing with it!

Do you realize that everything you say is going to impact you or someone around you? There’s a difference between watching every word you speak and actually endeavoring to Sow the Correct Words in your life.

I have tried to make it my practice to not only watch so that improper things don’t come out of my mouth but also that the correct things are being sown into the field of my life. I can remember years ago when my mom took me to the eye doctor. I was pretty young, like 10 or 11, but I distinctly remember the doctor telling my mom that if I didn’t wear glasses all the time that my eyes were going to cross within a year’s time.

Even at that age, the Lord had started instilling in me what words not to receive over my life, so when I got home, I rebuked the curses that the eye doctor had declared over me and declared that my eyes would never cross. I am happy to testify that it’s been over 30 years, and they have never crossed despite his diagnosis.

I learned that you can reject words without rejecting people, and though some may view it as being the same thing, it really isn’t. Oftentimes, people don’t even realize what they’re saying or flippantly say something without thinking. I usually just declare that I don’t receive those words and go on.

Many times I have had to tell family members not to curse my life with their words, and while it’s not been easy at times, it’s prevented the enemy from sowing things in the field of my life and made his efforts frustrating, I’d imagine. The more frustrated the enemy gets, the happier I am and the less likely to have to tear up a whole lot of word curses out of the field of my life.

“For we are fellow workmen (joint promoters, laborers together) with and for God; you are God’s garden and vineyard and field under cultivation, [you are] God’s building.” 1 Corinthians 3:9

To not reject a word spoken over you is virtually the same thing as agreeing with it! Once that word has been sown into the atmosphere, it has the ability to either be Empowered by the Angelic or the demonic. That’s why Angels harken to the word of the Lord to perform it…

“Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, you His angels, YOU MIGHTY ONES WHO DO HIS COMMANDMENTS, HEARTENING TO THE VOICE OF HIS WORD.” Psalms 103:20

You need to ask yourself, do I want to Empower the Angelic or the demonic in my life? If it’s the Angelic, then you need to take every WORD captive to Jesus Christ!

“[Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One),” 2 Corinthians 10:5

Decree God’s Truth over your life! Remind the Lord Of His Promises to you! As you do, the Word will not only take root in the soil of your life, but it’ll also produce a harvest of God’s Promises and His Power! It’s time to Sow the Word so you can reap His Destiny that He has given you along with all the benefits that go with it and See total Crop Failure to the enemy!
