We are wonderfully created.
Daughters of the Most High.
Set Above.
Designed for a Purpose.
Loved beyond human reasoning.
These are the truths of who we are in Christ Jesus.
Holy, beautiful, beloved, redeemed, and forgiven.
This is how the One who created everything sees you.
Do you believe these truths before you?
Do you trust the one who holds the key to eternity?
For God said,
“So, God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them” (Genesis 1:27).
Just this past week, our country and then my state (at the stroke of a pen) passed a law allowing abortion up into the last month of pregnancy.
“The new law legalizes abortion until birth for the mother’s “health,” which is not defined and has been interpreted by the Supreme Court to include, in essence, any reason. The measure also enables non-physicians — midwives, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants — to perform non-surgical or chemical abortions. In addition, it protects abortion performers by moving abortion law from New York’s criminal code to its health code.”
Whether you are pro-life or pro-choice, abortion should never be celebrated.
Women are the beautiful and holy fingerprints of God. We, like His Sons, bear His image, so all human beings created bear the same and are equally important to God.
God despises evil in any form. This includes abuse, murder, wickedness, deceitfulness, false witness, and conflict.
God is actually very specific about the things He hates.
Proverbs 6:16-19 New International Version (NIV)
There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him:
haughty eyes,
a lying tongue,
hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked schemes,
feet that are quick to rush into evil,
a false witness who pours out lies
and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.
God also says clearly in His Word that He is the judge.
Romans 2 (ERV)
Let God Be the Judge
2 So do you think that you can judge those other people? You are wrong. You too are guilty of sin. You judge them, but you do the same things they do. So, when you judge them, you are really condemning yourself. 2 God judges all who do such things, and we know his judgment is right. 3 And since you do the same things as those people you judge, surely you understand that God will punish you too. How could you think you would be able to escape his judgment? 4 God has been kind to you. He has been very patient, waiting for you to change. But you think nothing of his kindness. Maybe you don’t understand that God is kind to you so that you will decide to change your lives.
These are the truths stated by God in the gospel.
God is also very specific about how He feels about children.
The Bible tells us repeatedly in His Word that all children are a gift from God. Every single life, every single child, is a reward and blessing.
“See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven” (Matthew 18:10).
The Holy Beautiful Ministry has a purpose and a passion to lead women into a deeper relationship with Christ Jesus, have community, and a better understanding of the Holy Scriptures. We also desire to be a place of peace, love, prayer, and discussion. We desire to bring women into health, body, mind, and spirit.
We seek to be a haven for the hurting, broken, depressed, and outcast.
Everyone is welcome at our table, everyone.
Women make so many choices every day. Regarding abortion, there are so many reasons why and so much pain and loss.
We are not here to judge you but to love you if you have made this decision. We are here to tell you that God loves you. He would never forsake His daughters.
However, we are also here to give women a better understanding of creation, God’s fingerprints, justice, and defense of innocent life.
Few topics cause as much debate and controversy as this one.
God has known all life from eternity.
God is the creator of all life.
God is also the one then who breathes life into a child.
Life is holy, beautiful, and pure and needs to be treated as such.
These truths are expressed clearly in the book of Psalms:
“For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.” Psalm 139:13-16.
Furthermore, life is not ours to take, and God’s Word clearly says, “You shall not murder.” Exodus 20:13. “
“Did not He who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same One fashion us in the womb?” Job 31:15.
“Woe to him who says to his father, ‘What are you begetting?’ Or to the woman, ‘What have you brought forth?’ Thus says the Lord, The Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: ‘Ask Me of things to come concerning My sons; And concerning the work of My hands, you command Me. I have made the earth, and created man on it.’” Isaiah 45:10-12
There are also some situations where the decision for abortion is not based on selfish intent.
God loves all human beings equally. There is a divine purpose for each life.
Any decision made with God is between that person and God and no one else besides God has the right to judge.
The Holy Beautiful Ministry supports life and feels that many lives could be saved if the people involved sought God in their decision-making.
Life is valuable and warrants trust in the Creator. We are called to be women who live in faith, awe, and love for one another.
“…biblically, as well as biologically, you and I are unique human beings from the moment of conception.”
God will never abandon you or forget you. He wants us to seek Him with our whole heart.
If you are hurting or damaged from an event in your past, you are walking the same journey of every sinner on earth. Therefore, we need Jesus. This is why He came and died for us on the cross. We stood guilty before God. Now, Christians can stand innocent because of His Son.
Have faith in Christ Jesus. Confess that He is Lord over your life and seek Him in all decisions.
Don’t ever let anything keep you from a relationship with Christ. Don’t ever think He will turn His back on you.
Because of Him, we have redemption and forgiveness.
Because of Him, we should choose life.
“I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.” (Deuteronomy 30:19)
