On May 18th I saw a dramatic image in the Spirit. Because it was so graphic and visual, I took note of the time – 6:19 am on the West Coast. I saw our nation begin a freefall toward a place of destruction. In the midst of the freefall, I saw the hand of God reach into the frame and grab our country stopping the descent. The saving reach of God was not to preserve a political system or a way of life. It was to save the lives of the citizens who would suffer as a result of an unrestricted freefall.
I was reminded once again that God is not finished with the United States. He is also not finished with any nation. His plan for life and rescue is directed first and foremost toward the innocent people who would suffer from an evil assault in any form, whether military, economic, or philosophical. As a result of God’s reach to save individuals, a nation would be saved because the merciful act of rescue was extended from the hand of God.
