Can you believe it!? It’s Christmas time again! The Kingdom Winds Crew enjoys celebrating the holiday season all month long. Christmas carols have blasted through our speakers. Peppermint soaps have been placed in our restrooms. And Toasted Marshmallow creamers have graced the fridge and our bellies. Before we gather around the Christmas tree with friends and family, open gifts together, and sing for figgy pudding, we want to share our very favorite things about the Christmas season with you!
1. Hot chocolate with marshmallows
2. Skiing in Vermont
3. Nativities
4. Advent calendars (featuring chocolate, of course)
5. Heirloom holiday decorations
6. Christmas pajamas (footies or no footies?)
7. Old Christmas movies
8. Peppermint tea
9. Christmas stockings (especially those hand-made by loved ones)
10. Cutting down a Christmas tree at the local tree farm
11. Warm fuzzy socks (polar bears and penguins, anyone?)
12. Christmas carols by the piano
Christmas is a time to pause and continue the attitude of thankfulness. To find the joy in the details rather than just breezing through the season. While Christmas should always highlight Christ, He’s good to us throughout the year. Sadly, we throw the winter season under the bus as the least-becoming time of year, but Papa God is a Giver in all seasons. Even in the barren winter, there is goodness to be found!
What are some things you enjoy about Christmas time? Leave us some comments below, and don’t forget that the most important part of Christmas is the celebration of Christ’s birth!
From our Crew to yours, Merry Christmas!
