As women, we’ve all been intimidated by the woman described in Proverbs 31. Who can possibly be so perfect and talented?! You and I can!
The more I read this passage, the more I see myself in it. If you love The Lord and your family, you are a Proverbs 31 woman! Trust me it’s easier than you think! She was a dedicated woman who used her talents and skills to honor God, bless her family and those around her, just like me and you.

The number thirty-one in Hebrew was written with the letters lamed (authority) and aleph (ox, strength, or first). Thirty-one is therefore the gematria of El, the Hebrew word for God. El literally means “the strong (or primary) authority.” Thirty-one is the number associated with offspring in the Bible because the “son” in the house is the heir with the authority of the birthright. The 31st time the name Noah appears in the Bible is found in Gen. 9:1, And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.”
The number 31 speaks of firstborn, authority, strength, and family. You and I have been called and anointed to be a Proverbs 31 woman! Everything we need to be one is already inside of us!
Get ready to see the sudden rise to power and prominence of unknown women. They will be on the cover of magazines and take the media by storm. By coming into their full identity in me, by using the gifts and talents I have placed in them, they will go from the pit to the palace overnight! I will cause them to make their own dreams come true, by giving them, strategies and revelations right from My Throne Room.
Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish. Jeremiah 3:33
I have heard their cries and seen their determination to keep believing in the promises I have made to them. Their blind trust in Me and total dependence on me have caused the walls of resistance to crumble! I have clothed them with wisdom, understanding, knowledge, courage, strength, and favor, and they will rise to authority in every mountain of influence! I am raising up an army of mighty women! Deborahs, Jaels, Esthers, Ruths, Hannas, Lydias, Marys will all come together as one and use their different skills, and talents to further my kingdom, and bring unity and restoration to the church. Many will say: ” But women cannot lead!”
Who did Barak want on his side as he went into battle against the Canaanites? Who had the boldness to drive the tent peg into Sisera’s temple? Who had the courage to present herself to the king and save My people from destruction? Who, with her obedience and humility became the great grandmother of David? Who believed I would give her a son and dedicated that son to Me? Who used her resources to bless my disciples? Whom did I choose to carry, birth, and nurture My Son, The Saviour of the world?
You see, the woman was never an afterthought, a plan “B”. She was always part of My plan of redemption. Do you think that if I had created woman to be less than man in any way, I would have chosen her to be the mother of, and the one to raise My Son, The Saviour of the world?
The woman carried The Devine; The Devine became flesh so both natures could be reconciled in Jesus, who exemplified both perfectly, fulfilling My divine plan as a man.
When man and woman come together as one, they represent Me. I am taking you back to Eden, where you enjoyed perfect communion with Me and each other. My son Has restored the communion and harmony that your disobedience broke. He Has reversed the curse and has given you back the keys! The fruit of your womb Has crushed the head of the serpent and you can now walk in total authority!
A virtuous woman is a priceless companion to a man.
When a man’s heart fully trusts and relies on his woman, he will never lack any good thing. She will do him good all the days of her life. She will find ways to multiply what she is given. She will rise to the top wherever she goes and will rise to the top in her circles. She is wise with her finances, and even in times of lack, her household never lacks, for she will know what to do to produce wealth. She is generous and compassionate and gives to those in need. She brings honor to her husband and is respected by men and women for her strong work ethic and savvy business sense. She is wise, humble and admired by all. She excels in everything she does. She finds favor and blessings whenever she goes for my presence is with her always!
Arise, shine;For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. ISAIAH 60:1-2
