Many of us have experienced times of regret in the past where we had felt the nudge of the Holy Spirit to do something at a certain time in our lives and we weren’t obedient, or a place where we took a right down the road when we should have gone left, or maybe we made decisions about things that we later had a change of heart about and thought to ourselves, ” I wish I had done this instead of that”.
The Lord is declaring that He is Redeeming the Time for many of us this morning. For a lot of these circumstances that you have felt like you messed up are coming back around a second try, maybe they’re not going to manifest the same way they did the first time, but the Lord is bringing a Redemption to those areas of your life.
After Peters’s denial of Jesus 3 times (Matthew26:72-74); sometime later and a little farther down the road, the Lord posed him with the same question 3 times (John 21:15-17). “PETER DO YOU LOVE ME?” Each time his response was, ” LORD YOU KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU.” Now granted there was a hidden meaning in this as well, but it brought the opportunity for Peter to reaffirm himself to Jesus and redeem the denial that he had previously declared at the cocks crow.
Many of us out there are going to get second chances at the things that we have felt that we missed God on, especially in regards to our personal relationship with Him. There is a door of opportunity that is being thrown open for each of us in the days ahead in order for this to take place. You will see, once again, opportunities to address these things that you thought you would never be able to, very soon.
These “RETRIES” or Holy Spirit “DO OVERS” are going to give each of us the opportunities to change the missteps that we have made in order to fix our personal alignment with God and others. It is a wave of God’s Grace and Mercy bringing Reconciliation and Restoration in this hour!
Stay close to the Lord and watch as He begins to REDEEM THE TIME RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES. Don’t make the same mistakes you did last time and miss these opportunities as they come forth. The Destinies of some individuals may be riding on the coattails of your obedience. Obedience will always yield the best fruit in your Life!!!
