The Rebirth of America

As a nation may we bring all that has been given to us and offer it as a gift of full surrender and submission to our Savior and King, Jesus.

December 1st was such a significant day in prayer for America. The dawn of this new month, the 12th and final month of 2020 was ushered in by the nations gathering in prayer to stand with us, decree with us, and see the will of the Lord established in our nation. I had the honor of being a part of the panel on this online global prayer gathering.

During our time of worship, I kept seeing our nation going through a rebirth. As I was seeing this, one of the prayer leaders from the UK sent a text saying that she was seeing the final stages of a birthing (after a hard labor) and that the nations were the midwives for this birthing of America. This was confirmation of what I had been seeing but I knew that there was still something more.

As we continued in worship I received another message from a brother in Canada. It was a long message that I wasn’t able to read but within its context, I saw the words, “…the US is a Joseph nation… The moment my eyes saw those words I went into a vision regarding our nation. In this vision, I saw America like young Joseph, who had been given the coat of many colors. His joy and even his confidence were in the coat or “this mantel given” to him (the call). Then I saw Joseph (who represented America in this vision) lay the coat of many colors down at the feet of Jesus. He bowed before him in humility and repented for putting his confidence in the gift rather than in the Lord alone. In this vision, as soon as he laid down the gift that the Father had given him at the feet of Jesus, the rebirth took place. This time I saw it resembled the birth of our Savior, born in humility; a humble King. The authority was never to come from the gift or the call but from humbling ourselves before our true King. The Father had given America a gift that was to be laid at the feet of His dear Son.

Together, during the global gathering (on the morning of December 1st), together, this Joseph nation called America, laid down the coat of many colors at the feet of our King, and we were rebirthed into the posture of humility that Jesus carried when he came to earth. We presented our gift to the true King.

If this bears witness with you, take a moment to join in the prayer that declares, “Today we lay down every source of strength, authority, and confidence in anything other than full submission to King Jesus. We receive this rebirth into humble authority that serves rather than controls. We lay the coat of many colors at the feet of Jesus.”

This greatly pleases the heart of the Father, who gave America this coat. Now, like Joseph, we can govern with humble authority and wisdom that restores our fathers, our brothers, and the nations of the world.

December is a month to bring gifts to the King! Jesus is the One who hung upon a tree to fulfill why He came to earth. In this month where we hang ornaments upon a tree and place gifts under it; let us bring our greatest gifts and put them at the feet of the One who gave his all. As a nation (and the nations of the world), may we bring all that has been given to us and offer it as a gift of full surrender and submission to our Savior and King, Jesus.

They sang, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength belong to our God forever and ever! Amen.” Revelation 7:12

We begin this 12th month by declaring together that all blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and strength belong to our God forever and ever!! AMEN!
