“Arise Shine for your Light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! For Behold, darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people, but the Lord shall arise upon you, and His Glory shall be seen upon you!” Isaiah 60:1-2
There’s not any doubt that darkness even dense darkness has come upon this earth. Anyone who listens to the news for five minutes can see this. But when the Lights come on, the Darkness always retreats! There has never been a time since the beginning that darkness has ever overcome the Light, and that’s not going to change now. Many in this nation and around the world have been praying for the Lord to expose that which is hidden from view, and it is happening in this season in a way that’s never been seen before.
Things that have been hidden in darkness for years are being exposed as the Light comes on and the darkness retreats. People’s agendas, motives, activities, and deeds that have been done in secret are being publicly exposed.
Truth reveals what Lies conceal. Truth has been coming out, and many things are being exposed in the lives of those around us as well as the lives of those in positions of authority. It’s time to now press in, by the Holy Spirit, for the removal of those things that are in the way of His Kingdom in the lives of those who have been exposed.
Things are revealed by the Light, not for condemnation sake, but for the purpose of conviction and restoration. Also so the enemy’s plans to steal, kill and destroy can be stopped before he succeeds. Delusion and illusion don’t work very well in the Light, which is why the enemy keeps much of his activity in the darkness, but the outcry from God’s People for exposure has removed the grey areas which once existed, revealing what was once hidden from view.
“And this is the message which we have heard from Him and now are reporting to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in Him at all so if we say we are partakers together and enjoy fellowship with Him when we live and move and are walking about in darkness we are both speaking falsely and do not live and practice the Truth. But if we really are living and walking in the light as He Himself is in the light we have true unbroken fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanses us from all sin and guilt.” 1 John 5-7
Now is not the time for condemnation of those around us. We do not condone the acts or the sin, but we pray that as the Lights come on and things are exposed, there will be changes made to the lives of those who are in that place of darkness. That they will come to the Lord, and He will restore the years that the Locust has eaten and the worm has destroyed. Jesus died for all these folks. While I don’t like their actions, I hear the Lord’s heart for them even now to return to Him and be healed. Is anyone really out of His reach?
“But I tell you love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you to show that you were the children of your Father Who is in heaven for He makes His Sun rise on the wicked and on the good and makes the rain fall upon the upright in the wrongdoers alike.” Matthew 5:44-45
