The Grave

When I woke up, I sensed so strongly that the Lord was saying in this dream that many in this season need to know that their past is completely buried and a new day and a new season are dawning. I often preach about how there is a difference between if something is buried or planted. When you put a seed in the ground it is planted and eventually, something will grow from it. However, if something is buried it is never coming back to life.

This is why I believe this prophetic dream is so powerful. The Lord is declaring that what is in your past is buried and done. Your past never has to haunt you again! The reason things from our past seem to resurrect in our lives is because we give attention to the past. In this season, if you will deal with what you need to deal with from your past then you will be able to move forward with the Lord and go after all that He has for you.

The Lord wants to restore and rejuvenate you in order to launch you into the future He has for you. Your future with God is bright! Don’t be weighed down by your past. You do not have to allow past situations or circumstances to hold you captive any longer. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed, walk in the full manifestation of that freedom in this season!

Now is the time to bury the past and move forward. Romans 11:29 says that the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable. This means that they are under full warranty. If you will walk closely with the Lord and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit you will do every single thing God had called you to do regardless of your past. Whatever gifts and prophetic promises God has given to you will never be null or void. God is a man of His word and there is resurrection power in all that He does. Leave the dead things of your past in the grave and go after the calling God has for your future!

Over the years of being in ministry, I’ve encountered individuals who miss out on the healing and breakthrough the Lord wants to give to them because they do not want to let go of the past. If you are reliving and rehearsing your past over and over again you are missing out on the life God has waiting for you that is better than you could ever even imagine!

I want to challenge you in this hour to let the dead things in your life be dead. Bury them and move toward the breathtaking purpose God has for you. There is a reason why the past is called the past, it is because it is passed! It is over and it is done and if you will leave it buried God will accelerate you in the present and launch you into the prophetic destiny He has for your future.

The Kingdom of God is advancing like never before in the earth in this hour and God had a part for you to play. If you want to step into it, you must fully let go of everything from your past. Leave it in the grave and go forward with God!
