The Fork in the Road

Stay on the path of faith and do not wander onto the path of fear.

On November 7th, I saw in the Spirit, a Child of God walking down a path. Suddenly, in front of them, it diverged into two roads, one to the left and one to the right. One had a sign marked “FAITH,” and the other path had a sign marked “FEAR.” I started researching “forks in the road,” and do you know what? There is a verse in Ezekiel about the two roads! And in it, it states that no matter what the evil ones attempt in this world, God has already determined the outcome!

Fear not, Abba Father determines your outcome, Child of God! Even when we make mistakes and listen to the wrong voice, our God will always get us back on track. We must always choose the Path of Faith and never go down the Way of Fear. Making decisions based on fear will always misguide us and take us on detours. Choose Life over death, blessing over cursing. Let the Spirit of Faith guide you and never be driven off course by the spirit of fear.

But know this. Even if we wander down a path not set out for us, Father will always get us back on course. He makes a Way where there seems to be no way! He is the Way Maker!

“Beloved. I am the WAY, the Truth and the Life. Do not let fear influence your decisions in these last days. Do not lose hope. I have not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. I am the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way. Stay on the Path of Faith and do not wander onto the path of fear. I have sent My Spirit to be your Guide.

I am the same yesterday, today, and forever. Trust in Me no matter what it looks like, Dear One. I have laid out your Path before you were ever born. I am your Sure Foundation and the Way. Take the Way of Faith. Believe that I know the perfect path for you, for I have gone before you. Fear will only take you on detours and dead ends. My Way leads to LIFE and life abundantly. It is during tough times that you must choose faith and not fear.

I am your Guide and your Helper. I will make your steps sure, and your foot shall not slip. I will show you things to come. Just keep walking down the Road of Faith even when you cannot see where you are going, for I am with you always. I never leave nor forsake you. There is a Way of Light and also one of darkness. You are a Child of the Light and of the Day and not of the night and darkness.

My Word is a Light unto your feet and a Lamp unto your path. Faith will always bring you Home to Me. You walk by Faith and not by sight. Even when it seems dark and you cannot see your way forward, My Spirit shall guide you along the way you should go, and I will not let you go. The steps of a Righteous man and woman are ordered by the Lord. I am He who is well able to keep you from falling.

Even in the darkest nights and the hardest moments, trust in your Abba Father, Yahweh God, the Almighty. I am He who is faithful and true. I will never steer you in the wrong direction. But even if you wander off, I am with you. Yes, Beloved. I am in you. My Spirit dwells in your heart.

When you walk, your steps will not be impeded; when you run, you will not stumble. I will always bring you back to Me, for we are One in the Spirit.

Come, Beloved. Let us RUN together on this Path of Faith! Victory is just ahead! The Light of Dawn is shining! The Night is almost over! My GLORY is shining upon your Way! I shall present you faultless before the Throne of Grace with exceeding Joy! So rejoice! Your Path of Faith is leading you HOME!”

FORK IN THE ROAD: A metaphor for making a decision.  A point where a choice and one of two possibilities has to be taken.

A fork in the road is mused upon by Robert Frost in his poem “The Road Not Taken,” which begins, “Two roads diverged in a yellow wood..” In the story, he takes the road less traveled and states it “Made all the difference.” In the same way, taking the Way of Faith in God will make all the difference in your life!

Ezekiel 21:18

“Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 19“Now you, son of man, mark out two roads for the sword of the king of Babylon to take, both starting from the same land. And make a signpost where the road branches off to each city.”

The prophet in vision sets up this guidepost to direct the king on his march. The roads to Rabbah and to Jerusalem from Babylon would be the same for many hundred miles. It is impossible, therefore, to suppose that Ezekiel actually stood at their parting. Divination was always resorted to by the heathen on occasions of important questions. In this case, while Nebuchadnezzar thought in this way to determine his action, it was already fixed for him by a Higher Power, YAHWEH.

Jude 1:24

“Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, 25 To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

2 Samuel 22:37

“You enlarged my path under me; So my feet did not slip.”

Proverbs 4:12

“When you walk, your steps will not be impeded; when you run, you will not stumble.”

2 Corinthians 5:7

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

John 16:13

“When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth, for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak, and He will declare to you the things that are to come.”

Romans 13:12

“The night is nearly over; the day has drawn near. So let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.”

Ephesians 5:8

“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.”

1 Thessalonians 5:5

“For you are all children of the light and children of the day; we do not belong to the night or to the darkness.”

Psalm 119:105

“Your word is a lamp to guide My feet and a light for my path.”

Psalm 40:2

“He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, And He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm.”

Proverbs 16:9

“A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], But the LORD directs his steps and establishes them.”

2 Timothy 1:7

“For God did not give us a spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind.”

Romans 8:14

“For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. 15 For you did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”
