Day 363 of Bible Reading Plan – Sometimes we want to avoid problems and hindrances, yet sometimes it might be the path of most resistance that leads us to a place of the most fruitfulness in our own lives. Don’t pray for no problems. Pray for perseverance and strength to be faithful in those problems that God may be glorified.
All the promises of God are yes and amen. God can’t lie. If He has promised us something in His Word, then we can stake our lives on it.
Listen to or Read Episode 122 – There will be a new normal as a result of the Coronavirus Pandemic. Whether that’s good or bad will depend on us. We can long for things to go back to the way they were or we can look for ways that God can work in the new normal.
We are told only that he came to Jesus as a turning point in his life. “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.”
When they helped Him into the boat, the winds calmed down to normal. In a little while, the waves followed suit.
They suspected the truth of the Teacher. They feared that the Deliverer would not deliver this time.
Greater than our need for more politics, climate control, and other hot topics of today, we need a spiritual awakening in our country.
Who sends the storms into the life of a Christian? How should a Christian react to them? Ask the Holy Spirit for discernment as to who you need to tell to ‘be still.’
It was as if the winds on the sea were flinging me back and forth and crashing over me. I felt as if I had no sails anymore. As if at any moment I would capsize. What did I have to live for if everyone was gone?
