It has become harder and harder to get quality sleep whether it is due to stress,
insomnia, illness, time management, social media— the list goes on.
This is not simply about getting into a good sleep pattern or finding sleep-aids that guarantee a restful night’s sleep.
Calming practices for your nighttime routine can help you relax your overactive mind and make it easier to fall and stay asleep.
I wanted to share these moments with you because sometimes as an outsider looking in, travel in Europe can seem glamorous.
Wouldn’t it be so nice to enjoy this holiday season and not have to make your New Year’s resolution to lose the weight you gained over the holidays?
It’s cool to me that the God who needs no rest offers us rest, especially in the times that we need it most. It doesn’t take much to make a difference.
Too often, when someone thinks about rest, a comfy bed, pillows, and a blanket are involved. However, this isn’t the only way to re-energize.
I would tell people I am usually asleep before my flight even takes off. I must have shared that little factoid one too many times. We all know what the result of pride is; even when it seems subtle, the fall is coming.
Creativity is a funny thing. It seems to come and go when it pleases. Sometimes it hits you at the worst times and keeps you awake at night. Being in the business of creativity, I am fascinated by it—where it comes from, how to cultivate it, etc.
Rest is a promised gift from Papa (aka God). If you’re feeling restless, maybe it’s time to let down your sails and enjoy His sweet promises.
