Sometimes, God is silent and seems far away from us. It’s not what’s really happening but it can seem like that. He is always right by us.
So what does it mean to love justice? I think we cannot fully understand this without the knowledge of the Gospel.
My #MeToo #ChurchToo situation impacted how I saw God, men in leadership, and myself.
When God takes His rightful place on the throne of our lives, our fears of this world begin to diminish.

Take this cup from me.
These relationships are more crucial than we sometimes give them credit for. If I’m honest, I neglected them too often while I was in a relationship.
How was I supposed to spread positivity and the light of Christ to others when I wasn’t even letting that into my own heart?
We all want to know why only the good die young or why in the world wonderful, kind people find themselves in tragedy while the rotten, selfish folks continue on their merry way.
But it is here in the middle of this new stage of motherhood that I realize how important friendships are and also how rare those deep friendships are.
The next few days were a blur. Through conversation with friends and an eventual conversation by phone, I came to find out that she had come to the understanding that she didn’t want to be a pastor’s wife after all. Apparently, she realized this during my ordination.
As long as God is our first priority, He will shift our hearts and passions in the ways they should go. If that means being single or being married, we will find solace in His will.
