Switching Tables

In this season, I believe the Lord is about to unexpectedly promote those that have been obedient and humble to higher places.

The Lord recently gave me a prophetic dream that I believe is a word for many in the body of Christ in this season. In the dream, I was sitting at a white folding table with four other men. We were having a conversation that did not seem significant or of much importance. I then noticed that over to the right there was another table with four other men sitting around it. The table these men were sitting at was a very nice, well-made wood table. In the dream, I knew these men were engaged in a powerful, productive, and meaningful conversation. They were each leaned in, excitedly talking with one another.

Then, one of the men at the table looked up at me and motioned for me to come over and sit at the table with them. I stood up with excitement to join them in their conversation. The Lord spoke to me in the dream and said, “They invited you to the table, not the others with you.” I pushed the chair I had been sitting in under the table and walked over to take a seat at the other table. As soon as I sat down at this table, I was completely engaged in the conversation the other men were having. Each person had input and something to contribute to the conversation. I had a strong sense in the dream that this conversation was like iron sharpening iron. Then I woke up from the dream.

I believe the Lord was speaking through this prophetic dream that there are incredible promotions and connections that are about to be made between like-minded people. Where many believers get off track is by striving for a place at the table when God has been preparing a place for them at the table. It is important for us to always remember where promotion comes from. Promotion comes from God, not from man. Psalm 75:6-7 says, “For promotion comes neither from the east nor from the west nor from the south. But God is the Judge: He puts down one, and exalts another.” When we are pursuing the destiny God has for each of us, it is the Lord that will elevate us to accomplish His will for us, not our own efforts.

In this season, I believe the Lord is about to unexpectedly promote those that have been obedient and humble to higher places. You may even have to leave some of the people you are connected with now behind because they cannot go where you are going. Many are about to receive promotion from the Lord and with this promotion will come divine relationships that God will use to advance the Kingdom. God is building teams in the world right now by bringing individuals into life-giving alignments. He is building teams in business, in ministry, and in every sphere of influence. God will use Kingdom-minded teams of people to impact different areas of society for the Kingdom of God.

Promotion is coming! Don’t hesitate or feel inferior when God calls you higher. If God calls you, it is because He has qualified and appointed you to be in that position. This is an hour where God is moving people to the right tables. Don’t strive or worry about finding where you fit because God has a specific place prepared for you at the right table. You will step into your promise with the right people around you. Expect to see things shift and change as you find yourself in the right place at the right time with the right people around you to fulfill the dreams and callings God has for your life!
