General Post Submission Information

Thank you for being a part of what God is doing at Kingdom Winds. Before beginning your first post submission, please take a minute to read through these short but informative bullet points.

  • Please create and save posts outside of the Collective Member Editor Dashboard in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Text Edit, or another program. Then, simply copy and paste into the text editor using the “Paste as Text” button (to prevent formatting errors).
  • Add a featured image (2.4:1 optimal ratio) and insert other images within the body as you desire. Please note that we reserve the right to replace or remove them.
  • Not all posts are accepted for publication. Below are three common reasons:
    • It is not deemed to be Christian in nature or appropriately aligned with the site genre,
    • It does not align with our Kingdom Winds beliefs or core values, or
    • It does not currently meet our standard of quality.
  • If your submission is not accepted, it is not guaranteed to be saved. You should save all work on your own drive or cloud storage account.
  • If your submission is accepted into the editing process, please follow all editing guidelines laid out in the Resource Center.
  • Posts are scheduled to be published according to a variety of factors, so timing can vary. You will receive a notification when posts go live.

These guidelines apply to this and all future post submissions. This document can be referenced in the Resource Center under “Creating Posts.”


Submitting Posts

  1. Go to Kingdomwinds.com and log in. You will be redirected to the Collective Member Dashboard
  2. Click the Submit a Post button to go to article submission.
  3. Copy and paste your article content from your computer.
  4. Submit a title and potential image along with your content.
  5. Select an excerpt from your content to use for marketing.
    • This excerpt content should be roughly 2 to 3 sentences long—interesting as well as informative.
    • You can copy and paste sentences together.
  6. Choose a main category and subcategory for your article to fall under.
  7. Read through your submission to ensure that all grammar and punctuation are correct.
  8. Click submit.

If your article contains any minor grammatical errors, our in-house editors will correct the grammar for you before posting. If your article needs more extensive editing, we will write an Editor’s Note at the bottom of the submission form. You can make these corrections and then submit the article.

You will be emailed once your article is published.


Sharing Posts

You will be emailed once your article is published. Please link it to your personal site, share on social media, and share with friends and family.

  • To share on Facebook: copy the URL of your post’s page and paste into the FB status bar. You can use the excerpt text as your post text, or select any content. Use #KingdomWinds.
  • To share on Instagram: take a screenshot of your published post, share it on Instagram, and link to Kingdomwinds.com in the caption, use #KingdomWinds.
  • To share on Twitter: select a one-liner from your post and share it on Twitter with a link to your post on Kingdomwinds.com and #KingdomWinds.

Store Operation and Merchandising Topics


Setting Up Your Store

  1. Log in to your Collective Member profile.
  2. Click the link that says “Create Store”
  3. Create a name for your store. If you are an author, just use your name as the store name. If you are an artisan, please add a description. Ex: Andrew Smith’s Pottery.
  4. Submit an image for your marketplace storefront. Please choose an image of your merchandise that is well-lit and attractive.
  5. Add products.

Adding Products to Your Store

  1. Log in to your Collective Member profile.
  2. Click on the link to manage your marketplace store.
  3. Click the button to “Add Merchandise”
  4. Create a name for your item
  5. Submit dimensions of your item as well as material used (specifically important for paintings, pottery, and any art you are selling.)
  6. List where the item will be mailed from and how it will be mailed, including pricing, etc.
  7. Click here for a video showing you how to package a painting for shipping.

  9. Click here for estimates on how much shipping will cost and helpful suggestions on ways to ship.
  10. If your item will be mailed using Amazon, link the page.

Selling Products

  • You will be notified by email and in your dashboard on the KW site.
  • Kingdom Winds requires that our Collective Members ship their items within 2 to 5 business days of the purchase date.
  • Items will need to be shipped using standard shipping methods for your style of merchandise, guaranteeing reliable and safe handling of your items.
  • You will be able to track the packages.

Tracking and Managing Finances

There are four key sources of financial information related to book and product sales:

  • Kingdom Winds Collective Member Store Dashboard
  • Stripe Account Dashboard
  • Quarterly Royalty Reports
  • Fulfillment Invoice (if Kingdom Winds is fulfilling for you)
