“SHIFT DOWN and GEAR UP!” God spoke.
Immediately I remembered a time when I rode with my son on his motorcycle on the busy Interstate. We were going about 50, and he never took it out of the lower gears. Being in low gear on a fast freeway didn’t make sense. When we arrived at our destination I asked, “Why did you not take it out of the lower gears?” He replied, “I have more POWER if someone comes at me. I can escape injury by quickly moving out of their way,”
I then had a vision of a motorcycle rider, moving super-fast, on a long stretch of highway heading into the mountains. As he grew close, to the twisting road ahead, he slowed to a crawl. The Lord spoke, “Be prepared to SHIFT GEARS. Be equipped, for there are winding roads, and hairpin curves, in the days ahead.
More change is coming; it will be like rapid fire. Be careful to NOT react in your emotions. This is the time to SLOW DOWN, gain POWER and respond to My Spirit. What’s ahead may appear obscure, but it is clear to Me. When you fully gear up, in My life-giving, protecting Armor, you’ll FEEL My POWER!
Do not panic and be driven by fear; if you move too fast you’ll miss My instructions. If you’re pressed, on every side, yield to My Dunamis Power. The events coming may look unclear to you, but they’re very clear to me; My Provision is already in place.”
John 16:13 “When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth, for He will not speak on his own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak and declare to you the THINGS that ARE to COME.”
When I slow down and wait, God’s way is made VERY clear. Fear taints my ability to hear Holy Spirit. If I panic, I’m completely blind and deaf, unable to hear God’s voice.
John 10:27 “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” May we yield to our Master and Maker; our PRINCE OF PEACE
