There is a noise that is heard on earth in this hour that has been sent to control and manipulate nations and people: it is a noise that declares fear, hate, accusations, hopelessness, ruin, conspiracy, and unbelief. It is constantly flowing through the airwaves of communication to bombard peace with chaos and love with anger.
But— there is a sound that dispels the noise and parts the waters that seek to take us under. It is the sound of the voice of our God! To hear it, you must get above the noise. This is what the voice of our God sounds like,
“The voice of the Lord echoes above the sea. The God of glory thunders. The Lord thunders over the mighty sea. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic. The voice of the Lord splits the mighty cedars; the Lord shatters the cedars of Lebanon. He makes Lebanon’s mountains skip like a calf; he makes Mount Hermon leap like a young wild ox. The voice of the Lord strikes with bolts of lightning. The voice of the Lord makes the barren wilderness quake; the Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh. The voice of the Lord twists mighty oaks and strips the forests bare. In his Temple everyone shouts, ‘Glory!’”
Psalms 29:3-9
His voice strips the noise (the enemy) of its power and its authority to alter the times and seasons that the Lord has put in place. His voice shakes what can be shaken to bring us back to the solid foundation of righteousness, truth, and justice. His voice thunders above the noise and yet restores peace, hope, and joy. His voice breaks hate with the power of agape love.
I would love to think that all believers in Jesus are tuned into the sound of His voice but based on what I’m seeing on social media sites I’d say that the noise is infiltrating the lives of many— bringing fear, anger, confusion, and chaos.
But we can leave the realm of noise to enter the place where the sound of His voice echoes throughout time and eternity. It is there that we are reset, gain a heavenly perspective, and are strengthened in our inner man through the Holy Spirit.
“The nations made an uproar, the kingdoms tottered; He raised His voice, the earth melted.” Psalm 46:6
The noise is the nations in an uproar but there is a roar that comes from the Lion of Judah that is mighty to save!
In the Book of Revelation, chapter one takes us right into the sound of His voice being like a trumpet. And what does His voice do? It brings John into a revelation of our resurrected Lord,
“And standing in the middle of the lampstands was someone like the Son of Man. He was wearing a long robe with a gold sash across his chest. His head and his hair were white like wool, as white as snow. And his eyes were like flames of fire. His feet were like polished bronze refined in a furnace, and his voice thundered like mighty ocean waves. He held seven stars in his right hand, and a sharp two-edged sword came from his mouth. And his face was like the sun in all its brilliance,” Revelation 1:13-16.
The nations need to hear the trumpet sound of His voice that brings them into a revelation of “Who He is!” We, the church, need to remember and behold the resurrected King of Glory! He is a lion and when He roars all the earth is shaken.
I have shared in other writings of mine recently that I am hearing the echo of the “breaking of jars” that Gideon’s army of 300 broke to reveal the blazing torches and release the sound of the trumpet (ram’s horn). This echo or sound plays in my spirit constantly. I know that it is a prophetic sound and revelatory sound. Last Tuesday I was in Washington DC praying when this sound increased in my spirit. But this time I was given eyes to see the “blazing torches of fire” that are about to be revealed before the enemy and his armies— it is the blazing fire of His eyes!
“His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself.” Revelation 19:12
I believe that before 2020 is completed, we will experience a shift that comes when the sound of jars is broken once again but this time they will reveal His eyes of blazing fire and the sound of His roar. This will cause confusion to come upon the enemy’s camp that brings forth a great victory. It will be the sound that breaks the noise!
It will be like the time that the Lord looked down out of the pillar of fire upon Pharaoh’s army,
“But just before dawn the LORD looked down on the Egyptian army from the pillar of fire and cloud, and he threw their forces into total confusion.” Exodus 14:24
It is time to get out of the noise and to hear the sound that brings hope, brings victory, and reveals the Lion of Judah! May our voices join with the sound that exults the One with the voice that trumpets triumph! He is God— the earth belongs to Him and all that is within it.
