Regift

Whatever it is that God has called you to do, this is the time to go for it!

I was recently in a time of prayer, where I was praying in the spirit, and I heard the Lord say, “regift.” I continued to pray, seeking deeper revelation. Then I heard the Holy Spirit say, “When you receive a gift, you need to give it away.” When I heard this from the Lord, I knew that the Lord was speaking to me about the importance of believers being activated in their giftings in this hour. I also think God is looking for those in this season who will take their eyes off of themselves and begin to become a vessel God can use to bless others. God has given every single person a specific mix of gifts, talents, and abilities, and they are to be used to advance the Kingdom of God and touch every person you encounter.

Many times as believers, we can fall into the trap of being so selfish and only consumed by our own needs. However, when we are always focused on our own needs and desires, we miss many opportunities to regift what God has placed in us and done in us. When we go to prayer and the altar only seeking healing and breakthrough for ourselves, we are missing out on our true purpose. In my many years of walking with God, I have noticed that sowing into the breakthrough of others is where my own answered prayers are found. When I pray for others to receive their breakthrough and healing, the Lord honors that, and breakthrough comes to me, as well as those I am praying for. If I receive an impartation, I immediately think about who else I can pass this impartation along to that needs it.

The same goes for whatever spiritual gifts the Lord has given to you. Your gifts, talents, and abilities are not just for you but for others! Regift all of those gifts the Lord has placed in you to others.  What would happen if every believer regifted each of their God-given blessings to those around them? What would your workplace look like? What would the atmosphere of your city be like or even your nation if you regifted all that God has given to you to every single person you encountered? This is a season to really lean into the Lord and identify exactly what it is the Lord has gifted you with and begin to give it away.

I feel this so strongly in my spirit that this is a season where God is looking for those who receive healing to regift that healing, regift that breakthrough, regift salvation, and the gifts God has placed inside of you. If you are called to prophesy, it’s time to declare the word of the Lord. If you’re called to be an evangelist, go win souls for the Kingdom of God. If God has called you to be an entrepreneur, it’s time to start that business. Whatever it is that God has called you to do, this is the time to go for it! Go live out loud for God and see what He can do in and through your life!

As children of God, we are supposed to be walking advertisements of the goodness of God to the world. Whatever it is that the Lord has given to you, give it away! Find voices you can trust that have resources that can help you elevate your giftings. Find someone you can trust to speak into your life and call out those giftings the Lord has given to you that you may be unaware of. And ask the Holy Spirit to activate those giftings in you. This is your season to let your entire life and everything you do be a sacrifice to the Lord and a gift to the world. Get ready for God to use you and position yourself to regift everything you’ve been given in this season.
