I was recently in one of our worship services at ROAR Church, just communicating with the Lord and I kept hearing this phrase repeated in my spirit, “I am trying. I am trying. I am trying.” Just after I kept hearing this my wife, Autumn began to give a prophetic exhortation from Psalm 32:8-9 which in one translation says, “I hear the Lord saying, ‘I will stay close to you instructing you and guiding you along the pathway of your life. I will advise you along the way and I will lead you forth with my eyes as your guide. So don’t make it difficult and don’t be stubborn when I take you where you’ve never been before. Don’t make me tug you and pull you along, just come with Me.” I then knew what the Lord meant by that phrase, “I am trying.” Then God spoke to me again and said, “I am trying to position people. I am trying to place people where I need them to be but some will not go with Me. They will not follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.”
I believe this is an important word for many in this season. The Lord wants to shift you into proper position and placement for all that He has for you and all He has called you to do. So, don’t be stubborn and don’t make Him drag you, just follow the leading of the Holy Spirit! I have not always been right in the middle of God’s will for my life or in the proper position for my destiny. However, when I go into the right position and placement with the Lord it was because I got out of the way and allowed the Lord to guide and led me by His Spirit. Allow the Lord to do the same thing in you in this season. Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and shift into that perfect position and right placement with Him and watch what He will do in and through your life!
Many times believers are trying to find the right church, the right ministry to connect with, the right business to work in, the right city to live in but they are often striving in vain. Your walk with God can be simple if you will just follow His leading. When we listen to the Lord, stop striving and allow Him to guide and lead us, then we find ourselves in the right position and in the right placement for Him to use us to advance His Kingdom.
God needs you, first of all, in the right place with Him and then in the right geographical location, church, ministry, and business. When we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, we will be in the right position doing the right thing and this is when we reach our full Kingdom potential. When you surrender to the Lord and are placed and positioned by God, you will step into everything that He has for you and all He has called you to do with ease and peace.
Now is the time that you have to give up your own rights, pick up your cross daily and follow the Lord. Fulfilling your purpose and destiny is all about Kingdom placement and Kingdom positioning. If you have felt frustrated or stuck in previous seasons, you are simply out of place. It is just like in the natural when someone needs a chiropractic adjustment. You can experience all kinds of pain and problems in your body but then with just one chiropractic adjustment, everything is put back into its proper place. When your body is in the right alignment things begin to function well. It is the same way in the spirit, one adjustment from the Lord can shift you into exactly where you need to be in order to accomplish every assignment, He has given to you.
This is your season to get back in alignment with the Lord. Allow the Lord to highlight those areas where you need adjustment and watch everything shift into its proper place in your life. God is looking for those who will allow Him to guide and lead them with a willing heart and spirit. Just as Psalm 32:8-9 says, don’t be stubborn in this hour. Quit fighting against the Lord, stop overthinking things, cease striving and move forward with the Holy Spirit as your guide. This is a good season; a powerful season and the Lord wants you to be in the right position and placement to be a part of all He will do on the earth in this hour. Get into Kingdom position and placement!
